Well I am 78 (or will be tommorow) travel insurance for me is probably about as much as the cost of the trip (if I can even get it) Do it while you can because all of a sudden you look up and..... that place sounds amazing, beautiful, friendly, and affordable. Thanks for the heads up. Not sure if it might be an issue with these larger batteries, this one has smart charge technology, we've never noticed any heat while using or charging it but we'll keep an eye on it.

No, I had a couple of low ball offers and decided to hang on to it. It turned out to be a good choice because my son bought a 40' park modle trailer for his property up in the French and I can spend as much time as I want up there. Mine is the 6X6 and I have no trouble taking it out into any depth of water, it is nose heavy but even with my weight and loaded with gear I have tons of freeboard. Moving from side to side, netting fish, it's far more stable than a canoe and I have never taken on water. Besides that, you can't sink them as long as you have air in those tires. My son did put a 2hp motor on his, switched back to the electric, it was much easier than reaching over the seat to start it. Also there's something special about the silence when you are way back in the bush. Even with the battery, if it does go dead you are never stuck, just start the Argo , it moves surprisingly well in the water under it's own power. In fact often if I am trolling for pike I just run the Argo, the turbulence from the wheels seems to excite the pike.

I was starting to find it hard to lug my lead acid battery around. I love my argo but it's not quite as efficient as a boat so with the lead acid battery i could only troll for about 4 hours. I decided it was time to invest in one of these. What a huge difference in so many good ways. No worries about off gas when charging. I can pick this thing up with one hand and lift it in and out of the argo easily. I am not sure how long I can troll with it on the Argo but I have run it for over 7 hours at a time including wide open down the lake and back about 1/2 an hour each way with a 55lb thrust trolling motor. No issues at all. Only thing I would do differently is I would spend the extra to get one with the Bluetooth capability. Guess what I'm getting my son for his birthday this spring😊

It is so sad to see what has happened in some of these situations. When you remove pride and opportunity from a person's life there is little left and drugs and alcohol become an easy escape. I wish we could do better!

Had one, got rid of it. Having the cable hanging down the hole was a PITA. Fish would make a run and wrap the line around the cable, or swim up to the camera and ignore the bait. I went back to a flasher, gives me all the information I need.

With a boat that heavy on a trailer, in a trailer, how do you plan to load/unload the boat and trailer from the utility trailer?

Best one I know of is Tim Hales out of Beaverton, nice clean huts, plenty of safe parking, excellent service. I have been using them for many years.

I think we are going to have to ban the use of these things or the fish populations are going to be decimated 😊

I have been using Norton Antivirus for years now and haven't had any problems but I am finding it is getting expensive. I just got my renewal notice and it's $129.00 for a year and that's just the basic service, there's always extras that they want you to purchase. I was wondering if anyone can offer a suggestion on an alternative based on their experience.

This is a seniors community Lew so no kids locally. I use to do mine and my neighbors but it's just too much for me now. I have tried seven different snow removal companies in our area, I've been quoted everything from $950.00 for the season (up front) to $30.00 per but in a big storm they come once for every three inches so a foot of snow = $120.00. My driveway is barely big enough to park 4 cars and the path to my propane tanks would be about 60'. While I really don't want to do it myself, I really don't have many options. Christ, my driveway isn't big enough to even turn that thing around in lol

Anyone have one? If so I would love to hear what you think of it. I need to do something for this winter, I just got a quote of $750.00 to do my driveway and path for this winter and they only come if there is 3+" of snow. Gas ones are a pain to store and service, corded ones are not practical for my place as I would need about 100+' of wire. Battery powered seems like it might be a good option.

Dirt lol. Jk, for years now I have been composting all my vegitable scraps and anything else other than animal/fish protine (trying to not attract critters). In the fall I add as much mulched leaves as I can. This usually yields about 3 5gal pails of good compost every year. I mix this with a couple of bags of tripple mix and use this for my gardens. This year I used it for my pails and as I harvest the pails I plan to just dump that soil back into the composter and mix it back with fresh compost hopfully eliminating the need for buying more tripple mix. The only down side I can find with growing in containers so far is that they have to be watered pretty much every day so if it doesn't rain you have to do it via some other method. As for pros, easy harvesting, little or no weeding, use of space that might otherwise go unused and lots of fresh produce.

Well curiosity got the better of me and I decided to see how my potatoes were doing so I harvested my first pail, 4 about the size of a hard ball, 4 about the size of a golf ball, about a dozen the size of grapes and a bunch of smaller ones. 4 more pails will be left for later harvests but all in all I am quite pleased with the results and would do this again.

Scugog is still closed for walleye. Sturgeon Lake is getting a lot more pressure since they closed the walleye fishing on Scugog. You can still find them but the numbers are way down from what they use to be.

So this is the first time I have tried it. Started off with 2" of soil in the pail, seed potatoes and 2 more inches of soil. As they grew I kept adding soil and now the 5 gal pails are full of soil and the plants are huge and in flower. When should I start to harvest them for maximum results.

And there is the answer, "an old LG". It didn't upset me that it failed, what turned me off was that even though it was just out of warranty I couldn't even get it repaired.
