  1. Being able to see your new boat in production is just awsome. Being able to boat over a thousand Crappie in the past 2week in your old green hornet is even better. Looking forward to seeing your new ride on the water. Ya I know, going by me doing 80. Cheers
  2. You must be just getting old . As for me, when I here that rif by Juice on EXTREME ANGLER It gets the blood flowing the same as if I where on the water fishing myself. I know that I am in for an action packed show with guys that are out to catch BIG fish and explian on how they are doing it. It gives the same old same old a little twist. Cheers AL
  3. Actually Thats a good suggestion Dog, As a general rule that is what we do. We did that on Sunday and a majority of the water in the area went down. Those holes went from 8" to about 18" round in a matter of 12hrs just from the run off. Those hole and where peopla had huts are now a tremendous hazard. Like Brian said WARNING the ice out there is not good. Live to Fish another day AL
  4. Thanks for the heads up Brian. I have heard these guys talk bass fishing before and they are very informative. I will be attending one of the talks, probably Peterborough or Uxbridge. I like the CBAF Logo. Good On YA Bud. I just put a few huts on the shore ready to go for next week. Give me a call and we will get out. Cheers AL
  5. Looks like you guys took advantage of that Beauty day yesterday. I hope to get out on Thursday for the last blast and get into a some of the frog feeding freenzey the walleye do this time of year with top water baits. I hope that you guys are really not going to pack it in till spring with the hard water season just around the corner. Great to see and hear that Dog Bob and Mark are still out poundin the water. That picture will encourage anyone to get out one more time. Cheers AL
  6. Sounds like you guys enjoyed your day. And Mark great to hear you and Trevor are getting out. I bet you he really loved bringing in those monsters. I will get up to Simcoe one of these days and hopefully soon. Cheers Al
  7. I was informed by someone today that they have them now at BPS. You might want to call first. AL
  8. Happy B day Have a good one
  9. Way to Team #1 and we are just getting warmed up. I had a great weakend on Scugog with 16 Walleye caught but non that will touch the size of those quinte giants. GO UPSCALERS GO
  10. Wish you a speedy recovery Dave. Let me offer you and Ken a smooth ride on the Bog for a relaxing day of crappie fishing. just what the doctor ordered. Team Five is alive Cheers Al
  11. I have fished as an am with the CFT in the past and I will be doing the Canadian open in kingston this year as an AM . If you have never fished in a tournament before this is the best way to get a good taste of competitive fishing. Carefull once you get a taste you will deffenatly want more. AL
  12. Right in town Does anyone know the name of a bait shop in Cornwall.
  13. I am heading to Cornwall this weekend and I am not that familier with the fishing in the area. Any suggestions where a guy can wet a line would be awsome. Thanks AL
  14. My faverates are: Stained water : Baby bass ( Green & White ) --- Bubble Gum ---- White ----- Black Clear Water : Watermelon Red Flake ---- Red shad ( black & red ) ---- Black Red flake There are so many to chosse from ?? where do you start. When choosing the two tone baits I try to get the sticks that have two distinct coulor sides ( not the marble effect.)
  15. I can tell you that you will not have that problem with a lund. I run the explorer SS and my tourny fishing partner is also a big man. He can stand on the gunny rod locker and that boat barly budges. Good Choice
  16. I have owned and fished out of both tiller and console. I do prefer the console though for boat control in rougher water at higher speeds. I also found that you have better visability of the water you are approaching when you are that much more forward in the boat. As for space in the boat, the SC has never been a problem. AL
  17. Thanks for the heads up on the closures. The cottage that I will be at is in the southern portion.
  18. I am heading up to a buds cottage on Jacks lake ( Apsly) this weekend and Just curious if anyone has been there lately and what advice you could offer. Got into some nice walleye last time I was there ice fishing but this time I was hoping to target the Crappie. Thanks AL
  19. WOW what a tough crowd. LOL Team five is alive. Al
  20. If you cannot find much close to where you are staying. Take the ferry over to Playa del Carman ($20 return) And Grab a cab for $10 to Porto Adventura. The opperator there is Captain Ricks and he offers a wide variety of fishing adventures. Do a search I am sure he has a web site. I was there three weeks ago and his guides put us on some nice cudas. make sure to ask him about light gear fishing.
  21. Congrats to team X and Mr Kulik. Getting a sponsor like Interstate Batteries on board in Canada is awsome. After the 2006 season that Mark had, he is more that deserving the backing of a great sponsor All the best in 2007 to team X and Mr. Kulik.
  22. Thats great Sandman I hope to get out and see everyone
  23. Is your ice fishing event this sunday open to anyone or is for members only??????
  24. If you are planning to put your boat in be verry carefull for there is still lots of floating bergs out there and can be just below the water line and not visable. I know that it will be hard for even myself not to get the boat on plain, but i iwll keep the speed down so I don't tear a hole through the side of the hull. I learned the hard way a few years ago. I will be out on Sat & Sun Caesarea side in a 14ft mirro craft, So if your as well stop and say hey. Play Hard & play Safe AL
