Visited the Markham store 1st time since the out-of-business new was released. It was very sad to see a store I have spent years of my time at has become almost empty and to learn employees I have become friends with over the years are moving on as well. I hope they have learned their lessons and make necessary adjustments to be a contender to other big-brand stores.

Mike, Could you beat the old lady on HWY-7 & Keele? I once had a friendly competition with her ... She was able to consistently tie 7 dozens in a hour in front of I ... over my 4 dozens .. Someone was laughing at the counter ... what a shame. Ahh, that was a fun experience -
I know that place with 'snow' all over the place! It was pretty cold this morning. Already missed 15C we had two days ago ...

Hi all, I am looking for the hottest disposable/re-useable heat pads on the market so that my dad can once again enjoy steelheading/ice fishing as much as he used to. Thanks!

Cold water shot out like a bullet as soon as the cap was loosened. tried my best to put it back in (which was impossible) and had wife to run over to turn off the valve within minutes. I then proceeded to complete the swap and everything worked perfectly. However, we were hoping there was no damages to the unit below. Sure enough ... within an hour, the superintendent came over saying the unit below noticed minor water damages to the shower ceiling (right below my shower) ... he also showed me the picture of '1'x1' wrinkled paint around the shower ceiling light' ... He also followed up with the unit around noon today and there was no additional damage. thank god. I could not sleep last night but kept worrying about how it will be resolved by the building manager on Monday I have had condo insurance for 6 years without any claims until my stupid action. Would appreciate any advices on how it might be taken off and what would be the best way to take care of it. - How much would the repair cost be? - Should this be dealt with privately? - How do my/his home insurance work? Thanks in advance as always

How long should a 12V battery last for Helix-5 SI GPS?
okumasheffield replied to okumasheffield's topic in General Discussion
Great info. I now can believe the battery is defective -
Just purchased a 12V battery from Sail for Helix-5 SI GPS and found out a full-charge only lasts 4 hours before shutting down the unit. The fishfinder is supposed to drain 700mA Here is the battery info Brand: PBS 12V-7.2AH/20HR Does it mean the battery is defective? On a side note, is it a bad idea to run FF using trolling motor battery? Thanks in advance
