I would like to buy a new pair of waders and the pair I am looking at for example is $449 here in Canada before tax, however On-line from the USA they are on sale for $315 +$35 shipping. Sa basically there is $100 difference in the sticker price. Now I dont understand how the duty works when importing something such as this. Would the cost and hastle (if any) actually save me that $100 or will Duty pretty much eat that margin up? If anyone has any experience with this I would appreciate your help. Thanks,

The only one I can comment on is the Islander as I own one. I do not have a bad word to say about the product. It is durable as you can possibly hope for. It may not be the flashiest pin that you can find but it gets the job done. It a "blue collar" reel if you know what I mean. I wouldnt trade it for another reel at this point.

Hello All, I have humed and hawed over what fishing vest to get. I currenlty have an older vest that is just fine but I am tired of swapping my fly and float gear constantly. Therefore I want a new vest for fly fishing purposes. I have looked at the Simms G3 guiding vest. It seems nice but it doesnt seem to fit very well and really is over the top expensive. So, I guess what I am looking for is any reviews you have on your vest or chest pack for fly gear. It may help me make my decision. My choice is not financially restricted really, I just want something GOOD quality that will last a long time. Thanks!

The Sportsman show is far superior to the fishing show. The Fishing show always seems to dissapoint in my opinion.

I have been going to the Waltonian Inn for over 20 years. I think I went there with my family for the first time when I was 3 years old. Typically I have been in the Summer months but have been for ice fishing as well. Great spot, great service, go enjoy yourself! PS: Im jealous!

I cant even tell you how jealous I am. That is an incredible day. I have never caught 8 steelies in a day let alone in my first 9 casts. If you ever need a partner let me know....anytime, anywhere! Obviously youd be doing the teaching!! Cheers and thanks again for an incredible report.
