  1. Or you could just mosey on down to Home Depot and pick one up.
  2. I also have one if you want to come and pick it up. 😜
  3. My favorite movie is 48 years old and it is the finest comedy ever made.
  4. Craig If the grayling are of any decent size you'll end up killing a lot of grayling with tiny spinners. They will suck them into their gills really easily. My go to grayling lures are either #3 gold Blue Fox Vibrex spinners or a #8 Len Thompson spoon in (potato bug) orange with black dots.
  5. And yet the day before they lost to the worst team in the league. 🙄
  6. She was filming and letting the marina guy know what kind of fish it was. 🤣
  7. Dock fishing down South is a little different. 😉
  8. I've had access for months but haven't had the time to install and test it yet. If you want to upgrade make sure all your app vendors have tested and approved for Win 11 or you may end up not being able to use those apps. I have apps on my personal computer that are not Win 11 ready yet so I will wait until they are ready before upgrading.
  9. Yep, BBQ tank. Our cabin owners road is in, not the big one yet. It's usually done in February.
  10. Dara Tried to BBQ last night. Had to order pizza. 😌
  11. Art Figure I better post in American for ya!!! 😜 How do you like that -60 wind chill?
  12. You mean people don't pull their plugs when they haul out their boats? I've been doing it since day one!!! Not because of invasive species but because of rain filling it up on the trailer while parked. I also have a small leak so it lets me drain out any water that's in the boat. A few years ago buddy and his wife were launching their boat at my lake and they were pulling out when I showed up. Why? Left the plug in all winter tons of water in the bottom of the boat and the freeze killed his bilge pump. He put it on the trailer and was about to leave when I gave him a little piece of advice. I told him to pull his plug and drain out the 1,000#'s plus of water in the boat before he left so as not to put more strain on the boat and trailer.
  13. If you go in knowledge you will get a decent boat from the Legend guys. I have an 18 footer I bought in 1991. The base motor package was a 60 which would be way underpowered. I opted to have a 90 on it and it was perfect. The max HP on the boat is 125. In 2013 I upgraded to a 115 Merc 4 stroke and got the smart gauge package with troll control for trolling. Can get down to 1.5 mph with my 115 on this boat. She'll be 30 years old this March and it's still kicking.
  14. Yes, they are used on nets to keep them floating. Mostly use cork now though.
  15. I can't see my @$$ getting off the couch today. 🥶
  16. The joy of sliding rings!!! Better to tape them like this as they tend to fall off otherwise. 😉
  17. I can guarantee there won't be enough on my sled trail. Be bouncing off rocks on the sled but can crawl up nicely with the SxS.
  18. Had some snow this week and got to push it around with the new toy. 😁
  19. There is also new battery tech coming out that is supposed to out perform lithium.
  20. So I got to give the SxS and new plow a good workout. I cleaned my driveway and did my neighbour's business as we share the driveway onto the road plus they let me work inside where it's warm, on my toys in the winter. Took between 1 and 1 1/2 hours to do the whole job. Used to take me that just to do my place with the snow blower. Almost forgot, the heated seats and heater worked awesome!!! Blue dot is the entrance to my garage the SxS sits in (as well as my boat). The area inside the poorly drawn red area is the area I cleaned up today. 😊 And the toy in all it's glory. 😁 Won't be too long before I'm plowing the ice road out to my cabin. 👍
  21. I will be putting a good sized solar system at my cabin here. It will power everything a normal home would have plus all my shop tools. You can get a system that will power anything you want. Off grid would be a solar setup with batteries through an inverter to power your home Grid tied is tied to the electrical grid so you can use solar power during the day but the grid at night. Excess generated power can be sold to the utility company reducing your power bill for the energy you use at night or on cloudy days. You can also add battery storage so that if/when the grid power goes down and it's dark or cloudy you still have power. Batteries are the things that need replacing most often. They generally last 7-10 years. If you're totally off grid then you will need a generator occasionally to top up the batteries in the winter when there is less solar energy. The larger your battery bank the longer you can go between generator use. There are systems that will automatically start the generator when your batteries fall to a certain level and shut off when full. Look into rebates for installing your system as well. They can be substantial. Here in the NWT they will rebate you 50% of your purchase price up to a maximum of $20,000. So you could purchase $40,000 worth of system and get $20,000 back.
  22. I used Marinco twist lock TM plug on my boat. Works good and allows me to keep the TM disconnected when not using it so I know there's nothing to drain the batteries. Even when not in use a lot of electronics/electrical things draw a small amount of power. https://www.amazon.ca/Marinco-12VCP6-ConnectPro-Charging-Receptacle/dp/B000NI38KS/ref=asc_df_B000NI38KS/?tag=googleshopc0c-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=335540902013&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=7641685943674575004&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9001629&hvtargid=pla-572087200955&psc=1
