  1. The gas price Olympics of Ontario I do not miss!!! :tease: :tease: :tease: :tease:

Up here in de Nord they keep the prices stable for some reason.

Current price is $1.139 which it's been for quite some time now.

Had a 2 cent jump a few weeks ago for a couple of days for some reason but then went back to where it was.

  2. Back at 'er again this weekend.

    Got the stairs almost done.

Ran out of sub-floor adhesive so still need to get the plywood done on the top flight. :D

I can now use them though. :)

Move the kitchen back to it's temporary home.

Got my starter strips cut and sealed so I can get to work on the siding when vacay begins Friday after work.

Spent 2 days burning off cuts and skids too.

The site is starting to look pretty clean now.

Nice that we've had a bunch of rain so I don't have to worry about burning down the forest this year.

  3. My vote is on a gummed up needle and seat.

Float isn't closing off the flow of fuel into the float bowl.

Do you add fuel stabilizer to your fuel?

I run it in all of my fuel except the truck.

I never know when the last time my small engines will be used so I put stabilizer in all of my fuel.

    Keeps things from gumming up.

  4. "This is how Texans are dealing with looters. God Bless Texas!

Liberals heads would explode at this, but honestly these men are taking care of their neighborhood. They probably know everyone on their street and would protect them from unwelcome thieves. This actually frees up officers to patrol other areas."

  5.

Curious, do you use the shortcuts CTRL C and CTRL V for all your responses? This could save you an absolute ton of time. :good:

Matt has assigned hotkeys for his responses. This way he can still eat hot pockets with one hand while posting from his mom's basement!!!!! :tease: :tease: :tease: :tease:

  6. black bears get a bad rep, they want less to do with you than you with them.

Grizzlies though? to hell with that, my cousin's best friend got his leg eaten by one...they are terrifying.

glad everything went smoothly lew, enjoy

    Grizzlies are just misunderstood!!!

There are some really fine bears on both sides!!! :tease: :tease: :tease: :tease:

I've had many run in's with grizzlies over the years and have yet to be eaten.

Not that the next one might eat me though.

in 2009 I came face to face with a 1,000# sow at a distance of 3 yards!!! She didn't eat me. :D

Now Polar Bears, you gotta watch out fer them buggers!!!!

They WANT to Eat YOU!!!! :w00t: :w00t: :w00t:

  7. One of our local news channels says Houston got more rain in 72 hours than we have received in 9 months! It's hard to imagine that amount of rainfall for me.

Just saw some rainfall totals and the highest amount in that 72 hour time span was 39.25 inches!!!!

That's 999.96 mm of rain in 3 days!!!

  8. I've heard the bed extenders work quite well so that's my plan for now. I like the "j style" carriers but I don't have a roof rack.

A quick to install and cheap ladder rack would be great but most I've seen won't work with my tonneau or are very expensive.

One of my worries with the Pescador is it's rated to about 350 pounds and I'm already 220 of it. I'm wondering if it will sit low in the water and be harder to paddle. I suppose I'll figure that out with with the demo....

    It'll be fine.

If it holds me, it'll hold you. ;)

  9. I have one of those. :)

The bed extenders are awesome for carrying kayaks.

My buddy uses one for his Hobie Pro Angler 14.

He handles it himself and it is a 110# kayak. I have a Honda Pilot and put mine on the roof rack.

There is no way I could get a PA up there as the Pescador is about my limit.

If you need to carry it a distance from the vehicle to the water get yourself a kayak cart so you can just roll it there.
