  1. Ignore the stupid light, it's a Dodge you should be happy that it starts up and that light probably makes up for a tail light that does not work. . . . . . .

When the stupid light stops blinking is when you need to worry. That's when the tranny falls out!!! :rofl2::rofl2::rofl2::rofl2::rofl2:

  2. Go to Alberta and you'll see tonnes of tundras hauling. Easily my favorite truck, just wish I could afford one lol.

Their getting pretty big in NW Ontario too. But the majority is pretty split mixed between Dodge/Chevy, then ford

Yep, plenty of Tundras out West.

I'll be purchasing a LTD in the next few years so it's paid for by the time I retire.

A nice little retirement present for myself. :)

  3. Dontcha have a extra laptop kicking around, we have used my wife's old I3 HP laptop hardwired to the network and TV with a wireless mouse as the remote for years now with Kodi. Much more capable with the whole network accessible than an android box.

Yes I do have an old laptop. Problem is it's having issues now.

This is cheaper than a new laptop and can run the NHL app so I can still stream my games as I pay for NHL Centre Ice programming.

It's also got a better processor than my old celeron laptop.

  4. I have a Frabill Magnum 2 person tow behind that I'm going to put skis on as well. I have an old pair of downhill skis that I'll cut down and mount to the bottom. I don't think I'll lift it as much as in the pic shown but maybe 2-3" max.

I also bought a new skidoo and trailer this year.

Other than that I have some repair work to do to my auger and maybe a new battery for my 6 yr old Hummingbird flasher.

Can't wait for the snow and ice season.

Matt, if you're dragging it behind your sled no need to lift it at all.

Make sure to put some UHMW runners on it though to protect the tub from sharp ice.

  5. People go ice fishing because the dam lakes freeze over not because you need ice to catch fish. lol Year round open water suits me fine. I lived north of "Buried", Ont for years and just don't miss the long winters.

Ice and snow gives me the opportunity to fish lakes that are fly in access only during the open water season. ;)

Garmin acquires Navionics, premier supplier of marine navigational charts
OCTOBER 27, 2017FISH AND HUNT, MARINE

Garmin is proud to announce that it has acquired Navionics S.p.A., a privately-held worldwide provider of electronic navigational charts and mobile applications for the marine industry.

Navionics has long been known as a leading supplier of highly accurate navigational charts and mobile applications for boaters. By combining Navionics’ content with Garmin’s BlueChart and LakeVü content, we will be able to offer the best available breadth and depth of coverage to our marine customers. Going forward, we plan to retain the Navionics brand and will continue to support Navionics’ existing customers.

“Since our founding, Navionics has been passionate about creating products that enhance the boating experience,” said Giuseppe Carnevali, Navionics founder and president. “Garmin shares our passion for serving the marine industry, and is an ideal company to carry the strong brand and reputation of Navionics into the future.”

In addition to a popular boating app, Navionics has developed an extensive repository of nautical charts for oceans, rivers, and lakes. Many of these charts have been developed with Navionics’ proprietary surveys, done both in the field and with remote sensing such as satellite imagery and airborne laser scanners.

  7. Loaded up my old Bronco for me and my buddy to head out fishing.

Forgot to close the swingout spare tire carrier.

Hooked the fence and caved in the rear corner of the truck.

Pulled forward secured the carrier and went fishin'.

    Dealt with it later. ;)

Luckily it didn't cost me a fortune as I had contacts at a very high end body shop and they fixed me up for $500. ;)

  8. If they die in the river they will stay in the river or get washed out to the lake, not lie around on the bank stinking the place up.

As long as the river level doesn't go up or down. :whistling::whistling::whistling:

I spend a lot of time fishing in Alaska and guess what, there are dead salmon everywhere!!!!

It's 10,000 times worse than the Credit or any other GL river could ever be. ;)

  9. Lol reminds me of the 8 billion foxes hanging out at the mine last summer. Left my truck window down and a fox hopped in and tried to snag my lunch lol

    Brave lil guys

Had one come up to me while shore fishing here in town.

    They are super friendly. ^_^

I was hand feeding him minnows.

I have a den in the hill at the foot of my driveway.

There's always foxes around. My dog dislikes foxes for some reason. :dunno:

    No raccoons up here though.

We have more menacing critters to deal with.

Every year there are bears in town that need to be relocated. We've also had wolves, coyote's, lynx, cougar and I have even seen a wolverine on my street.

Got some pretty cute critters about too. Ermine and pine martin as well as these fellas.
