  1. Gordon was the same way in his early years. He was always whining and complaining and pouting when he had a bad day. It only took 17 years two marriages and a kid to change him.
  2. Legally wrong but ethically right. I have had a similar situation while guiding. Gret Bear Lake has a 28" maximum size limit. On of my guests hooked into a decent fish that was well over the size limit, but during the fight I figure it had a heart attack and was stone dead when we got it to the boat. The laker weighed 21#'s and legally should have been released. I could not live with wasting it so took it back to camp for the cook to smoke up.
  3. That 69 Camaro should fetch 6 figures. Which is 5 figures more than I can afford right now.
  4. Yer good to go!!!!! Time to go boat shopping!!!!!!
  5. Too bad you had to let your Honda go. Dang fine vehicle. I'm sure the Flex will do fine as long as you stay under 4500# Just make sure you have the towing package for the extra tranny cooling etc.
  6. Because your pond drains into a stream you will need to contact the MNR about stocking your pond. When I lived in Grand Valley we had a pond that did not drain into a river, stream etc and could go ahead and stock away. Depending on the outflow size, distance from stream etc they may say yes or no or you may have to make some changes to go ahead. They may even limit the type of fish you can stock. Gice the MNR a call and they will be able to help you out.
  7. I actually don't mind the looks of the Flex. I haven't seen it up close though. Could be good from a far but far from good. Looks like it can tow 4500# with the towing package. I would hope you got the all wheel drive option as FWD is not the greatest on slippery launch ramps. My Honda Pilot has the same towing capacity and it tows my 18 foot Fisher w/90hp outboard fine.
  8. I gave up on it quite a few years ago when they had that big price increase.

  10. All is good with my 300 computers spread over 8 sites.
  11. Being old school when I was back in TO I was running Eagle Claw style 42's in sizes 10, 12 and 14. When I started fishing in bigger flows out west I changed to Gami Octopus hooks in sizes 6 and 8 as I was continually straightening hooks with the old 42's even after stepping up to size 6's. I havent straightened a hook since. Out east you can get away with smaller hooks in the smaller tribs. Use something like a 14 for running single eggs.
  12. The difference would be if you already have two on the stringer you have no wiggle room incase you catch a bleeder. So yes you could release your dead bleeder but if you only had one fish on your stringer you could add that bleeder to your stringer and not waste a fish or be unspotsman like by releasing a fish that is for sure going to die.
  13. By law you are supposed to stop fishing when you have retained your limit. That is why when I am keep ing fish I don't fill out my limit until late in the day.
  14. Yeah it's not like they're bouncing a ball and trash talking or swinging a stick and spitting. If they were then yeah, they would be worth it.
  15. You can watch seasons 1 through 12 full episodes on Comedy Central's web site. South Park Episodes On Line!!!! You guys are right Oprah's Minge and the Starvin' Marvin episodes are bound to be classics as well. Another of my favs is "The Snuke" from season 11 Also anything with Towlie or Mr. Hanke in it.
  16. I don't care what you say, the most hilarious episode was the whoer (had to mis spell to get past the censors) off between Mr. Slave and Paris Hilton!!!! That's comic gold right there!!!!!
  17. I watched that episode Fiday night. It's only true in the US, our Canadian banks are fine.
  18. 1st check the grounds. Is it an alternater type whine or is it a buzzing or crackling sound? It could be a number of things I would need to know what equipment is in the car.
  19. I have an 18 foot side console with Merc 90 horse 2 stroke and trolled Lake Ontario & Lake Huron for trout and salmon, Lake Erie for Walleyes, Pigeon for muskies. Well you get the idea. It does depend alot on boat size and weight as well as hull design. What you want to troll for and with what boat/motor setup?
  20. Solopaddler broke the tip on his Raven and couriered the rod directly to Anglers International and then AI couriered it to Tom at AngSpec to re-wrap the tip section. Mikes cost was quite high as he wanted it ASAP.
  21. Paris is nice. France not Ontario!!!! Although Paris Ontario does have it's own charms. Italy would be another good choice at that time of year.
  22. Why, real good ice fishing them.
  23. It's a good reason to have more than one rod in your stable. Personally I have accumulated one 16 footer, three 15's, one 14 and one 11 1/2. If I break one I just choose another while the broken one is being fixed.
  24. And for a monthly donation of just $79 we will throw in this plush stuffed fishey toy!!! Your children are sure to love it!!!! LOL
  25. My buddy Keith in Alaska has put together an instructional video on Center Pin Fishing that may be helpful. Center Pin Video
