  1. I think fisherman is right if you owned one for years you can still ride them but if you buy one you can not license it therefore you can ride it anywhere but your own property
  2. Ron I just reversed the bracket to balance the transducer then stuck a hunk of styrofoam so it would sit straight in the water it worked pretty well I had too much foam but is fine till my new 83/200 ice transducer comes
  3. well I have to say that I use to put small trees and branches down and it sure brought and held fish
  4. Wayne caught a perch I snapped a picture but it doesn't show up in the photo cause it was so small..LOL Lloyd did get one OOS fish I played with my new Lowrance HDS5 what a great fishfinder, even with all the other finders around me I figured out how to get rid of almost all the interferance can't wait for the ice transducer to be built for me another fun day on the water
  5. I hears there were lots out there walking and fishing one skidoo way out there, might be a little early for that and a Wilcraft so it looks pretty good for the walkers
  6. yeah I had a 2006 griz 660 4x4 I found you are best to run most of the time without chains they tend to always dig in, whereas without hem you can run on top of crusty snow but with them on you push through the snow because they do dig in but in slushy conditions I would not go without them on same if there is no snow for steering control they sure help
  7. great stuff love to read them but but it makes me green with envy.... and mad at myself for not getting out and doing trips like them
  8. You can always print it
  9. well lock her up tight mine was stolen you might want to buy a set of chains for the back wheels I didn't put them on often but always had them with me I got stuck in a slush field and couldn't move put the chains on and drove out a good investment

  25. I have not checked out the east side of the lake I know ice was pushed in on that side and it snowed, so it shouldn't be as good as the west side but there are lots of places to access the lake the real problem is parking if you go west aon Ravenshoe from Woodbine/Leslie to lakeshore and turn right there is a bit on parking at the canal and access and at Youngs harbour there is some parking on the left and on the right if the parking lot doesn't have too much snow you can park there you can park on some side streets and access at Miami beach or Glenwood beach or Glenwood beach road again you must respect the no parking signs, because you will not even get out of your vehicle and the ticket vultures will be by
