  1. I hope so I need my fix
  2. Oh man you have no idea, I can see why a dip while ice fishing is so dangerous. That kind of cold stuns you. I have a video but didn't want to post it here way too many obscenities
  3. Copious amounts of beer a polar bear dip in the muskoka river and a deep fried turkey with good friends.
  4. Here's some pics from this year. An epic trip to cabo in the spring. Some of the best fishing I've had to date, it's a shame it got destroyed by a hurricane this fall I would love to go back. also caught a nice marlin have a pic but due to a language barrier it was not released so I would rather not post. The rig this spring. and a couple of the nicer fish caught this year a pb splake and kitty. this cat was caught on a five foot ugly stick on six lb test almost spooled me had to chase it down. A couple other nice fish from the year.
  5. Thanks way too many matches the other way.
  6. Never fished it before. Any one been with an on ice or cottage and hut operator that they would recommend?
  7. Me too I'm in Milton and the closest decent tackle shop is fishing world in Hamilton.
  8. I rock a shimano exige (sp) it's a four piece. I've used it for big snook in Florida and caught like a twelve phone Jack on it in Dominican. Great medium action rod for decent sized fish folds into a foot and a half tube that fits nicely in a suitcase.
  9. If you put your rods in a tube you can check them as oversize baggage. Bud and Mary's I'm islamoroda (sp) has a huge fleet of fishing boats, back country our deep sea. Too bad you won't be down there in May the missus and I love the fishing down there and we'll probably charter at least a couple times would be nice to have someone else to split on to keep costs down. I highly recommend captain Cohen if you head to the backcountry amazing guide he put us on some nice snook and redfish when we were there in the fall. Tons of awesome snapper and jacks to be caught under the bridges in the keys just use jig heads shrimp and bass setups, don't forget to check the regs if you plan on keeping anything lots of slot sizes on the reef fish. Good luck pm me if you want any info or phone numbers.
  10. Just got mine at the store in Milton, there's one left. Yup just a quick call to the manager and score thanks for the heads up brother.
  11. Anybody else gonna be fishing in the tourney this weekend?
  12. When I first started using the Internet I needed to make a Hotmail account. Everything I tried had either a number or symbol in it and I figured that would be harder to remember. How many of you have an email account without. So I started typing random stuff in and voilà.
  13. I cut the cable about a year ago and have the computer hooked directly to the TV. This way you don't need to buy any media hardware just a couple cables. I use Vuze (find it very easy to navigate I'm a little computarded). Download torrents from piratebay or kickasstorrents. With a 80 gig limit I never go over and I do grab most of my movies in hd. The one problem I do have though is finding any fishing shows can anyone recommend a decent site to get them?
  14. If you have never driven something with any size I recommend paying the money and get the proper training with a reputable truck driving school. Knowing you've been properly trained goes a long way when it comes to being confidant behind the wheel. There is tons of tight corners low bridges and downright terrible drivers in the gta. Still good money to be made if you get in at the right time and the right place. I make just under 30 bucks an hour and am home every night, although I have been with the company for almost fifteen years. Most food service company's pay around twenty an hour but it is definitely allot of heavy lifting. Good luck with the job search.
  15. hells yeah
  16. Lol no swimming to be had I thought about it though it was plenty warm out there.
  17. Good times with good people but yes some very terrible fishing. Bait everywhere just under the surface and low temps for this time of year I'm thinking were the main factors.
  18. Leaving from Milton around noon , should be back before dark. Help out with gas money and your in. Pm me or respond here.
  19. It's a natural speck and stocked splake/laker Lake. The reason I think speckie is the square tail and black mouth either way a beauty of a fish Here's a rainbow from the same Lake by far my favorite early trout spot.
  20. That River gets a lot of bows spring and fall the problem is so much water to cover. I've pulled a few beauts out of there mid winter is all about timing. Nice fish. ....
  21. At bay of quinte waiting for the wind to die down so I can get out for a fish.
  22. Caught this beauty up near Algonquin Park there is also splake in the lake, you can't see the fishes tail in either pic but it was square and released quickly. What do ya think beauty splake? Or I just crushed my pb by more than a pound and 5-6 inches?
  23. Still in the dark north of milton, been that way since saturday around supper time. Worried about the pipes freezing now with this cold. All I want for christmas is some electricity.
  24. There out there you just gotta find em, we had luck in 25-30 fow. Our biggest was 13.5. Lots of silver bass mixed in with em too needed some stress relief and food in the freezer. Week two of our strike and no end in sight.
