Okay, for what it's worth and not it's much since it's JMHO. I don't think there is a single person here who hasn't had a near miss or observed one involving some one talking on a cell phone while driving. I agree that we can't legislate away idiot behavior on our roads that is always going to be there. I saw a guy a couple of weeks ago on the QEW at 120 kph in a construction zone with his left signal on constantly. He was using a Bluetooth and was gesturing frantically with both hands while talking. He is obviously an idiot and no amount of laws will change that. However I think that the legislation will curb the behavior of enough people to make a difference and make my morning commute a little safer and more efficient.

Football FINALLY makes sense.......... A guy took his blonde girlfriend to her first football game. They had great seats right behind their team's bench. After the game, he asked her how she liked the experience. Eyes. Hows this one. I was at Bronte a few years back and there was a dead chinook by the rock pile on the east side. A hen mallard began pecking at it. As I watching she discovered something good in the salmons distended vent. I was a female salmon. The hen mallard shoved her bill into the salmon and kept shoving til she was buried in it to her eyeballs. I wish I had a camera for that one.

Along Pier 8 we have been steadily catching. Usually 8 to 12 lbs. We are searching around for the biggies who should be putting on the feed bags. Some of our guys got into them up to 38 lbs. at the east end of the harbour on Sunday. The water temp. is still hanging in at around 60 F. They are still fighting pretty good here.

The next time you're there come on over a say hello to us carpers. There are usually a few of us fishing along the pier just east of the discovery centre.

WTG! Nice looking perch. Were you at Pier 8? That's where the Discovery Centre is. That bullhead is that fat from eating all the bait we put in there for carp.

I've caught redhorse in the grand upto 5 lbs. But that was a long time ago. I have caught a small white one at Dunnville a few years ago. It was pretty enough to put in an aquarium. It was snow white with silver irredecent sides and pink fins. Nice capture.

It would not bother me either. But I would have tarped the carcass. 10% of us hunt, 10% are actively opposed to it and 80% of the population sits in the middle and don't care one way or the other. It's up to us not to shift them over to the anti's side. Because they will vote hunting out of existance if we allow it.

This seems to work to take the strong taste away from lots of different fish. Oh by the way that is not an artery it functions as a kidney in filtering the blood. Which is probably why removing it right away helps.
