  3. make sure to buy the floatation device for it , cause at water proof camera at the bottom of the lake is still useless. i have the older model and havent had any problems its a good point and shoot camera i use the camera in some pretty cold winter steelhead boat fishing on the niagara i have it inside my float suit to keep the batteries warm or the do go fast !! http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=9722042

  5. the baits themselves will freeze yes so i would assume the same for the tub of liquid from another site The freezing point is in the mid 20s degree F. It will not hurt the physical integrity of the baits to freeze and thaw. Having said that it is still not a good practice to have the baits go through repeated freeze/thaws over and over again. As for the container we did repeated freeze thaw testing on an upright bucket with no failures, but if this bucket is left on it's side when frozen it may rupture the seal and leak.

Thank you everyone for requesting i make them or have them made by someone else , but if i did that they wouldnt be what this whole post was about i'm not looking to make them sure I could , sure i could have someone else make them if that is what i wanted to do i would have never made this post and i thanks you for the pms and responses

    Hey JPD!

    I love my CI4 , every reel i handle now feels like a tank compared to it , the drag is Great , i dont have many hours on it yet but i think its awsome It even makes my Stradic MGFB feel heavy The only one thing i dont like about the CI4 is no Spare spool or any new shimano for that matter
  11. whatever you get , take it apart and clean all the grease out of it and lube it with oil so it doesnt freeze up i like some of rapalas new ice gear havent used any of it yet though

  15. just a heads up to any of you who might be heading over to the states for some shopping or what not I was at Gander Mountain last week and they have Shimano Stradic 2500 MGFB on sale for 129.99 which is like $100 off of retail I picked one up , Not sure how long the sale is on though so i wouldnt make a special trip for it or call ahead first maybe just though id pass on a deal that i found Cheers

  17. just run a small bead above your float and tie your stop out of a piece of normal line the bead will slide up and stop on the piece of line you tied on your main line

Yea they have been good to me as well , i bought a 10'6 loomis and i didnt like the epoxy work on it looks like they stopped spinning it before it dried so i called , the warrenty center , they sent Canpar to my house picked up the rod for free sent me a brand new one to my door no charge and all in 2 weeks i was very impressed

Does anyone one know of an Okuma dealer in the Niagara Region or GTA that has a decent selection looking for the GS-S-902L 9' light 2 pc Guide select steelhead rod if anyone has the rod how do you like it ? looking for it to be like a wet noodle is it that light , or can someone suggest a rod in that length that is like that any help would be great thanks

  21. sorry i should have said i'm going to sliding rings not another reel seat as for the stuff thats on there i dont care if it gets ruined and the rod is really no good to me if its uncomfortable so its either for sale or getting removed
