Spent 3 days on Lake Wahanpitae near Sudbury trying to catch small ones and we ended up with these ones

Lake Wahnapitae ...24 lbs Northern Pike, 22 Lbs Lake Trout. 11 Lbs Walleye, 4 lbs. Smallmouth and 13 inch Jumbos Prech ...Why go anywhere else

I have been boating for 40 years and never have had problems with my motor in thhe spring time being in the upward position during the winter months Each year I have several telling me that it should be in a downward position yet no one has givin me a feasible answer What is the advantage or disadvantage of having your engine in a upward /downward position ?

Its -2 frost everywhere and Im off to Lake Wahnapitae for those huge glassy eyed Walleye. My wife is looking at me and shaking her head L.O.L. Got to go

These, for the past 18 years were the most productive lures I ever used and the only Lures I used to catch all species of Fish Why is it that they discontinue them (It drives me Nuts) Now would any of you members know where I can purchase these 2 coloured lures either from a tackle shop or a member......Now that I opened my mouth up you guys are going to keep your mouth shut ...L.O.L. Lake Wahnapitae Kids have a blast with the perch ,we catch the odd jumbo perch but average is 9-12inches This year one 13 and 15 inch were caught

They are all in Lake Wahnapitae , This lake is only 25 minutes East of Sudbury, I have been fishing 21 years has never failed me I catch and release 90% of my fish 10 % goes to the dinner plate(nice to have freshly caught fish for supper) Here are a few shots of my 2008 season (these were all released)

What has happened to the salmon on Manitoulin Island ,especially in Providence Bay.... , For 4 weeks of fishing in our waders off from the creek nothing has come up absolutely nothing We just came back today, again nothing absolutely nothing,,,not even dead carcasses anywhere I have been fishing there over 30 years and I never imagined that this would happen,,So what are we going to blame this to Zebra mussels, coromonts,Lampreys, the level of the water Or The Ontario Government for not stocking the Great Lakes I always thought that the fees from our licences paid for restocking the great lakes?? Yes or No???
