  1. If Beaulieu lays on the ice and it's helped / stretchered of Karlsson probably gets a phone hearing. Since he got up nothing happens. Initial point of contact was the head. No doubt about it. Don't get me wrong, I love big hits but if your going to call head shots call them all. Not just the ones that result in someone layed out on the ice. No dog in this fight. Just calling them how I sees em.
  2. Just a reminder that this is the same goalie....... https://youtu.be/-d9cA2CXC_8 It's only a matter of time.
  3. Monetville does have an Elk farm so maybe that was where they go it..... hopefully.
  4. Not to hijack the thread. But Chris what would be your best guess for ice-out in Haliburton this year? Specifically Kash Lake.
  5. They say for every 1 mouse you see there are another 10 you don't.
  6. It's like two different people!!! Matt #1- Sounds like a Homer Sens fan with the typical hate for the Leafs and phones into every post-game show. Matt #2 - Sounds like an informed hockey fan with a valid argument who (I can't believe I am saying this) I actually agree with on some points!!! It's a hockey miracle!
  7. The way you talk about this guy its like Phil took you out for a nice seafood dinner and then never called you again. Get over it man!
  8. Sens? I thought they were changing there names to the Ottawa Hamburglers.
  9. I am sure the family of the individual whose head was removed and body parts eaten are hoping this guy gets a second chance and can be re introduced back in to society. I do not agree with you in this particular case. But I do agree that the process you explained does benefit a lot of people.
  10. Well. Since the soft water season ended I have added. - 30hp honda tiller - minn Kota powerdrive v2 - lowrance elite 7 hdi - 3 new baitcasting combos - 1 new spinning combo And several other smaller additions to the boat. Ram mounts, rocker panel, etc.... I need it to end so I stop spending money!
  11. Naw. A good hold on my part lol. 39" Never did get my 40. Hopefully next year when I head back up that way.
  12. I actually did have trouble catching pike on a larger baits up there. They wanted a bite size snack because of the cold water temps I assume. But I agree they usually will hit anything.
  13. I agree on the larger size for Pike but believe me they do work for them. This was caught on a chartreuse minnow version.
  14. Scatter Raps are great.... They have a really neat darting out to the side action at the right retrieval speed. Great for trolling and casting. I had a ton of success with the minnow types in Nakina last year for both Pike and Eyes. SAIL has them for $10.99 a pop in Ottawa. Rapala Scatter Rap® - YouTube fast forward to 1:30.
  15. Heddon Zara Spook.... Nothing better then a top water bite.
  16. I was told this is a pretty decent picture.
  17. Yikes, Were they ever outplayed last night. I'll take the 2 points though.
  18. I sure hope not. Muskie anglers will be all over that bird for an improper hold. Great pictures!
  19. Hey Guys, Just to give an update, I went and looked at the motor this morning and decided to pull the trigger. I don't think its a quite year 2000 because of the writing on the coiling but never the less it runs awesome. Its going to be a long winter.
  20. The new 4 stroke BF 30's from Honda are 170 so I assumed somewhere in that range… I guess I will have to wait and see. If I do end up buying it (looking at it tomorrow) it will be a long winter.
