Hi Everyone, I have been getting some emails asking about the ice fishing on the BOQ. I will be pleased to inform all those interested when the ice is on the Bay and what areas the fish are in etc. when it happens. Right now one of my employees and I seem to have to fight to see who gets what days off to go fishing...LOL....he forgets I sign his pay cheques I sound tough but he is really a great guy and very knowledgeable of the Bay, his name is Glen Hales and he is also the photographer for Canadian Fly Fisher magazine Canadian Fly Fisher Glen will be doing some guiding during the hard water season. I also have a deal with Rob Coolahan from Hooked on Outdoors where he has packages with accomodations at the Ramada Inn. Hooked on Outdoors When things begin we will post with pics as proof and maybe we can get a g2g happening this winter on hard water as well. Great report Emil sorry that the lures did not work for you, this is the BOQ and as I mentioned it seems that at times someone just turned the switch off and the bite is off and then at times it turns on and everything works. Hi Everyone, I just got back from the BOQ G2G at Merland Park. Everyone there is in real good spirits and are having fun. We were all around the camp fire having some laughs and telling stories. Some have caught some fish and others have not been so lucky as of yet. According to everyone they are catching walleye on different baits and there does not seem to be any one bait that is working better than others. The most successful time was aound 9:00 am this morning and then all of a sudden the walleye seemed to have quit biting as if someone turned the switch off. This definitely sounds like the Bay of Quinte you never know what to expect. Joey was taking alot of pics and when she gets back I am sure there will be quite a good post and report to follow with many pics. Best regards, Sam
