Born in England. came to Canada in 58. Learned to fish on the 16 mile creek (Oakville) when it was full of bass, largies, smallies, white bass, perch, sunfish and even the odd walleye. Still live in Oakville, but the old creeek ain't what she used to be. Paul

Early season bassin (largemouth) was great on Rice, numbers up but size down. Sept smallmouth was good but the topwater action was below par compared to what I have been used to (a lot of algea bloom). Walleye seemed to be more productive than other years, a lot of 11"-13" fish that should be 2 pounders by next year. All in all a pretty good year on Rice. Needtofish

I have been a lurker for a while and really enjoy the converstions on the old board. I have joined to new board and really like the look of it. I look forward to getting to know a lot a members and meet you in person. I live in Oakville and love to fish Bass and Walleye. Kudo's to you all for a great board. needtofish
