I think it is not just a hate for Alfredson I think it is a hate for not only the sens but the Sens fans. There is only one thing a leaf fan hates more than rush hour traffic and thats a sens fan! The rivalry between the 2 teams goes way back!

I am going thru the same thing right now, just bought a house...bell wanted hook up fee and I said NO...went to Cogeco and because I have internet with them they are hooking up my phone for nothing and giving me unlimited long distance and phone for $39.99 which is important cause my girl owns a business and makes lots of long distance calls. Bell said we couldn't have our 1000 free long distance minutes cause we were cancelling our satellite so we said fine see ya later! In 2 years Bell has lost all our services....phone, cell, internet and satellite.....if I am not the only one how does a company stay in business with such poor service when other companies offer way better service. Hold your ground on these people!

Percentage savings: you can save as much as.... 12% when you go the speed limit 31% when you avoid aggressive driving like hammering the gas cause the guy in front of you ticked you off. 7% by using cruise control. 19% by limiting your idling time...for example if your gonna be stopped for over 10 seconds cut your engine off. A few other things are: - brake sparingly, slow down or coast into light and try and catch the light when you are still rolling and to avoid the initial start of you car from a dead stop. - Avoid using AC, crack the windows....I have no AC so this one is easy for me...LOL -try not do do fast start off's, try and stay around 1900 RPM...yes its seems like you creeping along but this one can have huge cuts in your fule consumption. -when parking try and get a drive thru parking spot as I would call it so when you come back to your car you pull out in the forward motion and avoid backing up cause that burns extra fuel. These are the biggest fuel cutting measures and I have tried them and they do work....I do have a small vehicle also which has good mileage anyways but anymore fuel I can pinch out these days helps alot. I have noticed I can get about another 150-200 kilometres on a single tank of fuel, which for me is almost an extra $10 in my pocket. Hope this can help others out like it did me. well considering I bought my ducks Jersey about 9 years ago I would have to say I jumped that band wagon 9 years ago. I do enjoy watching the leafs play...they are entertaining to watch.

ITs a good point the were off for 9 days but the ducks had 7 days off. The next 2 games in Ottawa are gonna be nail biters thats for sure, can't wait bring on the hockey!

nope you can't....people get brutal with hockey threads, especially when you get on them when there team is losing. It's gonna be hard for the ducks to win in Ottawa, they may take 1 game but not both. The game tonight was awsome....2 games straight they shut the Sens down! Very fast paced and hard hitting. I decided to not start another thread on it but I am happy my team won again!

I could see how it could work....another thing that needs to happen is people need to stop being asses and make friends at work or start a web sight hooking up people from the same area travelling to work. People rely on there car too much...I did and I just stopped driving it, I have only put 135 clicks on my car in almost 2 weeks. It was crazy to see all those cars in the traffic jam on monday that stretched from the Gardener expressway all the way to the Burlington skyway...all 3-4 lanes the whole way!

I can verify that accident...I sat in the middle of that crap....Left T.O at 4:30 and got home at 9:05 here in the falls...what an unbearable trip that was.

pretty cool..now imagine if spawning salmon did that in the Niagara when one was caught and the all started jumping at a boat!

I have lost tons of fish with the hook in the tenticals...this year I am switching the hook to the other end. Saw a show on it and they had less fish come off the hook!

i am going thru the same process.....like blackblade said just replace it. I just have to find the time...LOL. I was told I should use a silicone of some sort around where the screws or bolts go...can anyone confirm this?

Congrats on the fish man, did you make the trip to empire cheese.....if I am within 2 hours of cambellford I always stop in...best cheese curds around.

knowone should be able to net or spear....we need to concentrate on saving our worlds fishery....I think I read a report that 1/3 of the worlds fish are gone already and thats very sad to me. And yes I know a that just that one area won't make a difference but every little bit helps!
