Gonna be a good stanley cup finals for sure, if the ducks get in they can sure hit...they got size and can hit hard but I am really not sure who is gonna take it this year....4 excellent teams left! Buffalo can be a fast team but Ottawa is so awsome with the puck.

man sounds like a great trip...when you first planned the trip did it take you a long time to choose a place, I went to algonquin 2 summers ago and got skunked 2 long days of fishing so it has made me not wanna go back up. Just curious as to what steps you took to plan to hit certain lakes.

apparently the Lakers have been pretty consistant out on the bar...from what I have heard, I have no boat so...LOL. Rainbows are spread all over the place...they maybe mixed up with the late spring...who knows. I would try drop shotting minnows or white tube jigs for the lakers...but you probably all ready know that...hope this helps!

Well I know a nice couple that just renovated a house and are starting a bed and breakfast kinda deal, a seperate apartment with own kitchen and stuff, one room and own sitting area, its on Stoney Lake, awsome house and awsome people. Newly renovated...has a whirlpool tub I think, and a patio, they have a small beach area and a boat not sure if the boat is an extra charge but if you PM me I can give you there number!

i went to a place last year and there was nobody there from 3pm to dark, I fished different parts of the Saugeen all day long and only saw maybe 4 anglers all day, it was nice.

was wondering the water clarity....found that out but then had my fishing partner bail at the last minute so I never made it up there for opener.....oh well! Thanks for replies guys!

Well I grew up in Norwood and fished almost all the creeks around there and most are full of chubs and bass, but there may be a few untapped gems there.....sorry I couldn't be of any help. There is a trout pond in between Norwood and Havelock if its still there but it costs an arm and a leg to fish it!

yes I love it down there...in the spring I go down twice a day for 5-6 days and in the summer I head down 3-4 times a week for bass. Not a soul in site in the summer for bass and its awsome down there. I find it calms me down after a hard days work!

ya should be ice for another week or so I would think...there is still ice on the Buffalo side of lake erie and along almost the whole shoreline of the upper niagara on the US side.

I am a hockey fan and the games out of the west have been more entertaining. What will happen to Ottawa when they actually face a team ready to play hockey? We will see! I still say Vancouver! Also Anaheim is playing awsome hockey too. But watch out for the Rangers....on fire!

Pike is open....musky closed....trout open on lake ontario and niagara river and port dalhousie.

heard a guy today at the shop say " why save the muskies, all they do is eat the walleye and bass". i have only fished for Musky once in my life and barely ever fish for walleye, I do fish bass thou and I thought that this statement the guy made was horrible and could not believe another angler would think this way. I dropped off money to Denis and I am all for trying to stop this from happening any further. Way to go Chilli.....I commend you on these efforts and the other many things you do in the Niagara region for our precious fishery and conservation down here! I tip my hat!!!!

yes I watched too...what a game... best game of the night. i watched all the other games....every team played awsome except pittsburgh last night...hense the beating, watch out when they get there bearings straight thou. Funny how Ottawa booos the best player in the league and other teams are complaining cause of the regular season scheduling adn wanna see him play in there town...LOL
