  1. I had no clue things were going to change. There should be a link from the old page to the new. I suspect lots of people can't find this site now.
  2. bass lake provincial park or Six mile
  3. The lake is a small lake that is all I am going to say
  4. It is a very small lake. That is all I am going to say.
  5. Nice pig for sure. I caught one almost exactly the same 2 weeks ago. It was 21" and it was thick. I weighed it and it was 5.2 pounds. I did not post its weight because I did not want any issues. Either way I was happy with the fish and I can see you are too. That spot looks very familiar to me but since the comorants have taken roost nearby the fishing havs not been the same in the past 2-3 years.
  6. Shad you are correct about he knot but I don't think you or Ohio understand the fluoro leader that SRT8 is talking about. THis leader is not a leader to protect against being bitten off by toothy critters, it is a leader about 6 to 20 ft long that is used so that the fish won't see the braid. it is tied line to line using a uni to uni or other knot. The actual knot, when finished is very small and can pass through the eyes of the rod on casts. There is no medal snap or swivel in this kind of a setup. You can use a mono leader or fluoro leader. I use the same setup as SRT and I bet there are hundreds of others here who do as well. Braid with a fluoro leader. When I used to use mono it was always Trilene XL (but i don't do it anymore)

Looks great except for that silly looking sticker of some Island on yer back window. lol jk
  9. I once used 15 pound pp on a Baicaster and had all the same problems you are experiencing. Have never put anything less than 30 pound on baitcasters since and never the issues. I don't like to go less than 15 pound test on spinning setups either. Try 30 pound and I bet your issues of breaking and looping around eyes is gone.
  10. nice!
  11. lol. Clean shaven Rob.
  12. Give it a try. Use the right lures and I think you might be surprised

  18. launched at 5:15 am nobody there. Left my boat at a friend's house on the water so did not have to take it out. GOing to get boat now. I dropped Jaydub off at the launch around noon and it was insane. Glad I did not have to deal with it.

  20. I love that lake. Nice fish!!! I might have to go tomorrow and do some downriggin and give the bass a break. Beauty!
  21. Got up early and went fishing for the morning Jaydub came too. Very busy and a good day. I finished with 17 smallies and Jaydub caught 8. Biggest fish was my first smallie of the day and weighed 4.01 pounds. 7 mins later I tangle with a 3.5 pounder. After that, no real big fish but very fun. Water was so clear I literally saw 40-50 bass this morn Pic of Jaydub's fish Pic of little fish but cool tshirt 3.5 pounder 4.01 pounds
