I was fishing simcoe so I was running a 6ft fluoro leader. I imagine the others might have been tying direct. I have heard that nano has bad knot strength so Berkley recommeds a double polamar knot. I hsven't tied directly to lure because this line is super super visible, even underwater.

I used it today. Long story short, for me it was no better than pp. It casts well but at one point it all bird nested and I ended up losing about 10 yards of line due to the tangle. It also broke off at the fluoro leader knot once. Luckily I was throwing a floating lure and was able to retrieve it floating on the surface. 6 out of 10 is accurate. I only bought one spool and will probably stick with pp. it is very very white as well. Colour says mist but it should say snow.

I am going to buy one spool and split it between 2 spinning rods. We'll see

It is on sale for $14.99. Worth it? Pros and cons? Also, could I use it to ice fish with? It would be freat if people who have actually fished it would also chime in here. thanks

Funny story terry. Sounds a bit bizarre but not as bad as the time I was stopped at a ride program by the opp and asked for my fishing license.

I have been using my few swammers from the autumn season and I used them ice fishing too. I only had 3 and I lost one so I only had 2 left and they were badly worn but still work. Anyway I made a side trip to rack and reel today and they have a great selection there. If you are in the barrie area and are looking for swammers they finally have them. I will be trying them this week. I will let you know how they work.

Hey nice bass off the dock!!! I always say 3-4 pound bass fight harder than their big 5 - 6 pound siblings. I find it way harder to land a 3.5 than a 5. They are in the air way more. Nexyt step. Come to the 'School of Cudz' so I can show you how to hold the fish to make it look as big as it actually was.

30# pp for most applications 50# pp for frogin/pitchin/flippin in clear water I just tie on a 8' - 12' 8# fluoro leader.

Got out for 3 hours tonight. About a dozen perch of which the biggest was 0.92 pounds and about 5 bass. Biggest was over 4 pounds. Beautiful temperature. Only caught about 12 perch because I was strictly fishing for smallies. Pic of nice bass and perch

yep. On a good day with senkos I end up throwing only half a senko and the fish still gulp it in. No action at all, just 2.5" senko rigged with a 5/0 texas style. More of a reaction strike than anything. Slow fall in the right place.

I have won with a good rock bass,. Should be worth something. I have a similar scoring system but no live bait and every species is worth 10 points plus 10 points for biggest fish of that species. Contest happens every fishing trip. I am def winning this year By the way congrats and I too want to see some sweet pics
