  2. IMO, the lack of replies to this thread ,is some believe, some dont, about the cause, and dont want to derail this thread. No matter my opinion,it is,the utmost respective thing,to do. God bless all families for thier loss. Thanks Cliff.

  7. Finally able to get out on the stands and boy was it ever a great morning to get out. I didnt know what to expect as far as snow went, but it was just the perfect amount. Although there was no deer harvest,I was able to do some tracking with the fresh snow and watch some turkeys and critters and also find out the rut, is not over yet. I planned on sitting the field for the first hour or so,then walk the bush. The deer are still active in the field,as there were tracks all over.I couldnt wait to get home to see if there was a time pattern, but they are still nocternal.Well except for one. I had a harem of about 30 or so turkeys fly down from the trees at daylight, and another smaller group just after. The smaller group made thier way to the field.I got to watch them for about an half an hour. Also my little critter friend made a visit. Like I said,I was only going to sit for a bit, then walk the bush. This is where I find one very aggrisive srcape and another near by.And did they stink. I layed low for an hour in some thick ceders, and did some grunting to see if I could get the boy to show, but to no avail. Continue on with my walk. There was alot more sign then in the past.It seemed the north side of the bush was much more active then the south.Lots of deer droppings,so I know he is staying in the area. I sat in my furthest stand til noon.Like I said, lots of tracks, but no sightings. The days are counting down til the close. I cant believe I havent harvest one yet.Cant say I havent had my chances. As you can see,the new six point in the area, still gots some neck on him. Does are still around too. Thanks for reading.

  14. I seen Rog today.Had time to stop by the BPS on the way home today. He was in his glory. He was playing the new fishing game and racing cars on the new nascar track. Nice job eh.LOL
  15. It,s a weldcell Terry. There are fixtures mounted to a spin table. The operator puts the parts in place, hit,s the button. The clamps hold the parts inplace, the table spins, and the weld starts. While that is happening, the operator loads up the other station, then hits the button again. When the welding is complete, the table will turn producing the welded parts, and the welder proceeds with the new parts that were added. Thanks me brudder
  16. Lots of water fowl shooting going on in my area. They are used to it.Maybe walk abit and find where they are walking. I have put alot of work, in this year.Just being there on the wrong days.LOL Thanks bud.Good luck to you too.
  17. Two years ago,a robotic welder was dropped on to my lap, as a takeover job.Like I said awhile back,I had no clue about this, but the company figured I could work it out . I have JUST gotten by after 2 years .It wasnt easy, but I did keep the production going. This course, was made for the hands on kind of guy.(I learn best this way).Well it didnt take long to get the hang of this robotics stuff.Talk abit, then show, and then,ok you do. Well, after 4 days (ya I didnt learn everything) but learned what I needed (program and run the robot and weld), as the fellow worker with me,learned the IO stuff (he,s a brain at this stuff).I got no time to learn that stuff. After all,Im the maintenance guy. The vids might be boring to some, but to me,I gained so much knowledge, and was able to program the robot and weld as well. Cant wait to get back to work and play with, MY,robot now. Theres alot involed with programing, but once you know how,it comes fast. Im not going to do a play by play of the points and weaves and arcs and no arcs. That would take me all night.LOL This vid,I was to program the robot to trace the same welds as the part.Weld on and off and points and angle.I made a few mistakes, but it worked. Next was a back part of a seat. One try is all it took. This vid is just of, weaving a weld. For parts that have gaps. This one I had a bit of trouble with, but got it. Now I get to program and weld.Simple stuff, but I am ready for the big stuff. Who says you cant teach an old dog new tricks? Sry to Dave that we couldnt hook up.But thanks so much for the dinner offer.Just got caught up with the course, and was late getting back.
