Not going to argue it. 21 inch is a good fish. Buckets at that length can be deceiving.Where as a smallie at that lenght, with big shoulder, can go 7. Just saying. Still a great fish walleye_man.

They make cast welding rods for a reason.Mig weld would be a patch job,but will slip off the cast. Brazing is a bandaid,that will last maybe a few days. Need to grind out a V groove and fill with a cast rod. I could do it,but dont have the means too. I,ll get back to you Tree30eight ASAP.

Yum Start Dry rub of my own.On it goes,indirect heat 275 for 3 hours. Getting there,splash of sauce Quick grill on the meat side. Gives the sauce abit of a crisp. Meat peeled off in your mouth .

Good old spruce sealed and painted,covered with carpet, will be fine aswell. The thing is,you dont want the water to absorb into the wood.
