Why 12 inch Danny? Just asking. You can go 8 ,and at the bottom of the hole using a spud,clear out a 12 inch round hole about 8 inches up from the bottom.This will act as an anchor. If you have clay like you say,and you dont do this anchor type style,you will get heving.I use to be a deck builder bfore it got cut throat here. Good luck.

Good question Scott. I just do it all. Flip/pitch the lillys and pull blade baits over deep weeds,and throw chunks in to deep weed patches.. IMO one never knows where they are.You just might find the honey spot where otheres may have thought they were not. Hey bud,tried that aswell.It does lessen the amount of twist,it still happens. I did try a swivel aswell,but still get it.

I use the same line, love it. At the end of my day,I just take all the tackle off,let out 100ft of line out in the water while moving ,for about 5 minutes.Reel back in ,and alls good.

Heading back from Vaughan this morning we hear that hwy 11 is closed both north and south bound between side rd 10 and 12 of Oro.Thinking a big crash happened and it,s going to be a long drive for those traveling. Turns out, that an 18 year old male was hit.Why he was there on the hwy really dosent bother me.I see people walking on it all the time. The biggest issue I have here ,he was hit more then once (according to the report) and NO ONE STOPPED. Here we have a dead young male and no one gives a rats ass? Makes me totally sick that we,as humans, have come to this.
