Are you targeting bass? Hit the lower end.Tubes and spinners bait.Sight fish.If you find deep cabbage,burn spinner baits,or resort to jigs,and rip them through the cabbage.

Now that I have the loop to loop down to 5 mil,I dab the main line with crazy glue.Seals the end,not allowing water in. Still much to learn.

And not yelling FISH ON, helps.Up here anyways.LOL

Garry,there,s nothing like that tick,line screaming back to the boat when flipp,n. Missed it last year,do to complications ,but totally stoked about this weekend. Smallies on the menu the next coming weekends. Long weekend ,will be my chance to wade and fly fish for bass and pike up at my pops.

During my pro/am bass fishing,I watched the pros fizz bass. This was on Simcoe and Erie. The fish swam right down. I was amazed how well they treated the bass while doing this. I would like to ask,how long a ban is in effect on this site? It would seem some have had a ban for sometime now. Good people(maybe not in the mines of mods or other members,time to grow up IMO) but good willing and helpful. Some may come across as ignorant,or disrespectful,like myself,the words come out wrong,and taken the wrong way.Or it,s the way the real worlds is,and some dont want to except it. I would like to see a short ban if need be,but it,s time to let some good members back in. Guys like DR.Sal,and GBFISHER come to mind. Guys that have their opinions,but speak truth most of the time.You may not like their opinions,but this is an open forum. Many here have not met each other,but when you do meet a member,it,s like,holy crap,he/she,is a great person. I speak from experience. Time to lift the iron gate, for some that want to rejoin.

Great pike and both smallie and largie fishing waters.

I pretty much use the loop at the end of my main line to detect a strike..Lots of times,I can feel the strike.Lots of short strikes. I have coverd alot of water the last two months. Im still relearning how to read of the water.
