That,s awesome bud. As for a record time,,,,,,,,One morning, I hit a fav smallie spot. Had 5 fish, for 23 pounds in an hour and a half. If it was a tourny day,I would of been in the money.LOL FISH HEADS,FISH HEADS,ROLLY ROLLY FISH HEADS.

It wasn,t to bad Bill. Oh and thanks for the tip bud. I was wondering if I was going to find the water.Good long walk though.I was very surprised,I didnt see any wild life. Im thinking I,m done for now on that piece of water.The growth is to much to thrash through,and the water is getting warmer. I,m going to start playing in the big river for a bit. Pike and maybe there are some steel in the fast waters. When bass opens,they will be my next target.

Fished a different part of the creek today. Missed a real nice brown.This creek has so much beautiful water. Managed this chubb. Now to my question,,,,,,,,,,,, They had a beautiful green body and black wings. It looks like they are mating.

I made a few from the end of a deer tail. Theres a small section that will disconnect from the tail. I used it on a spinning reel. They get destroyed real fast.

What did you use for the dog scratch bud? I used a few products. Nu look worked best for me.CTC has it.

How would I tie that Craig? Dave,those are sweet bud. When Im retrieving them,am I pulling in a fast or slow jerk motion? Or just try different speeds? I cant wait for bass opener WB.

What would you pike fly fisher guys recommend? Im sure a tippet is not required,I,ll be using about a 10ft,20lb floro leader. Or is that to light? Just putting this out, to pick the brains of some of the ones that are in the know. I plan on fishing them this sunday on a local river. I thank all for helping.

Dave.I will peel off about 10-15 feet of line at my feet ,before I start flicking the line.As im flicking the line,I keep peeling,til I get to the spot I want the fly to land.Hope that helps. Im very new to this,but have seem to find what works,FOR ME.
