  2. Those are your flies Christopher..
  3. Ever have one of those days where you just wanted to walk and couldnt wait to see what waits around the next bend? And seeing what was even further then that next bend? Today I got caught up in one of those moments. I have been fishing a nice piece of new waters this year, and always wanted to see what was furthur up the river.I arrived at 6:30am. There was a light drizzel, but it was refreshing.I start fishing at my normal spots. While I was fishing my normal first few pools,I caught a sight of a rainbow jumping in a pool above. Was it a sign? I believe it was. I reached the pool and started throw my fly. I thought for sure it was going to take it,but after about 15 minutes,I only managed to land a few small ones. To my surprise,I could see another great spot up river. I made my way up. This spot looked as good as the ones I have fished. Im hopeing it is holding a brown. Throwing into the fast waters, letting the dry fly drift into the deep pool. Again,I only manage a few small rainbows. For the next 3 or so miles, there were great fishing spots Fast running waters, draining into deep pools. Some with timber, some with over hanging trees. The perfect spots. . There was not a foot step to be seen on my walk. Only raccoon and deer tracks. I knew I was fishing untamed waters. The more I walked, the more great spots I seen, and the excitement of not seeing any foot steps, had me walk further and further. It was like I was in a trance. Time went by fast, Managing only small fish, but fish non the less. When it was time to head back,I had realized,I had walk a long way,and it was so cool. I sat and reflected on my walk, what I had come upon, how fortunate I was to be able to walk, fish and find to spots. It was so refreshing and satisfying. I leave you with,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, LEAVE ONLY FOOT STEPS .
  4. Will do. I just like the idea of being able to hit a small lake/pond, and go out. Have alot I have not visited in a long time. As for my unsatisfaction with BPS,I guess I shouldnt expect much from the BIG BOX STORE,or should I???. But it is frustrating, when you want answers, and cant get them. Float tubes are new to me. It would of been nice to have a guy that knew about them and tell me alot of info about in,s and out,s. Do,s and dont,s. Thats all I ask.

  13. Wheres muskymatt PRAISE ELFIE The biggest story of the day however might be Daniel Alfredsson who is leaving the Ottawa Senators after 17 seasons in the nation's capital. According to TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger, the long-time Ottawa captain made the Senators aware of his decision on Thursday night and will sign a one-year, $5.5 million contract with the Detroit Red Wings. Last season, Alfredsson scored 10 goals and 16 assists in 47 games. He also added 4 goals and 10 points in 10 playoff games. The native of Gothenburg, Sweden has spent his entire career with Ottawa, scoring 426 goals and adding 682 assists in 1,178 games. The 40-year-old veteran was originally selected in the sixth round by the Senators at the 1994 NHL Entry Draft. This is ensane The Red Wings also landed former Florida Panther centre Stephen Weisswith a five-year, $24.5 million contract. Weiss, the 4th overall pick in the 2001 draft, played in just 17 games for the Panthers last season due to a wrist injury but had scored at least 20 goals in each of the three previous seasons. Heading to Ottawa meanwhile, is left-winger Clarke MacArthur who signed a two-year $6.5 million dollar deal with the Senators. MacArthur, who was originally drafted 73rd overall by Buffalo in 2003, scored eight goals and 20 points for the Maple Leafs last season.
  14. Do you have a link Rich? I cant seem to find it.
  15. I was getting the feeling they were coming around and treating the customer better. NOT I went down to buy two items. The Outcast Fish Cat® 4-LCS Float Tube, and some flippers. Did alot of research on this tube and others, and it was the best bang for the $219. Even Cabelas was selling for the same price, but there was shipping. Thought what the hell, drive down was cheaper. It was there, but hanging up on a hook. Asked the guy if he could bring it down so I could look it over, and feel how the weight was. The guy came right out and said NO. Why,it,s just on a hook. Nope cant take it down. I see it has rings on the under neath. I asked does it come with a back pack strap. Nope, you cant back pack that. I said it,s got the rings right there. Oh,ya,I guess you could. I looked at the mrs,s,and shock my head. I just said, thanks for wasting my time,I,ll buy from Cabelas. I dont think that registered with him, cause he came back with,we have sold alot of these, their a great tube. WHAT A CLOWN. Had the same thing in the foot wear. Showed the guy the flyer. He couldnt find the ones in the flyer. My mrs,s did. Go figure. So now Im floatless,,,,,,,, Oh ya,thats another story. Buddy had a 14ft smokercraft with a 25 merc. Went to see it,no one home, and no boat any where. Another waste of time. Anyone know a good place that sells float tubes? I was on Labarons site, but didnt see any. The one I want at Cabelas,is on back order. Guess,I could check out another, and the shipping cost. That I dread. Oh well what ya going to do. Maybe it was a full moon.LOL
  16. I thought BPS was coming around, but I guess not. I walked out with my 300 bucks in my pocket and wont be back..IGNORANT jerk
