  1. One boat was loaded with fishing rods. Father son from what I could tell. As for the stanley, it came in, loaded up with fuel (like said) and left. No shoot going on here.
  2. I was going to post PB, but though NOT. LOL
  3. Watched this boat come in and fuel up. Then leave. Love the Stanley boats. One thing stood out,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Is there a new law? I seen a few boats missing the same thing today.
  4. Straight arm hold Yup, it looks huge.
  5. Pike, the other bait fish,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,right Lew You two have a great time up there .
  6. I was given a bag of trixys when I first fished it. They worked great. When I fished the next day, the pro used a goby style bait and did well. He did, not me.LOL
  7. Would you believe, a hungry farret (might of been a mink) that was licking his chops and saying, I,LL TAKE IT. End of that goby life.
  8. You can head from lake O and get to simcoe doing the trent system. If Im not mistaken, it,s do to the bait bucket brigade and also from boats transfering unwashed. Im not 100% on this, but have also heard they have been here longer then we know, just that we are seeing more and more of them now. I know on Erie they are stupid crazy. Probly why they brought out the plastic goby baits to use there, and why slammers work so well on Simcoe for bass on a drop shot rig.LOL
  9. Yup, he looks like a keswickian,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Nice fish there Devin.
  10. Yes Paul, Simcoe. It,s the Barrie Marina. You can see many of them in the smaller size every where. I was very surprised at it,s size and fattness.
  11. This thing was huge. I have only caught them like 3-4 inches. This one was a good 6"-7" and fat. It wasnt the only one, but thought I would post this one. The jig is 1", so you be the judge. Might even be longer then 6"-7 ". How big can these things get?
  12. Im enjoying this more and more now that I have got my settings. Dont ask what they are, I just wing it ,till I find what works. Would really like to get closer shots, that will come Im sure. Still working will gulls, but some are faster then others. I should of waited just a few seconds more, and this one would of turned out Im sure.
  13. I see he is from Barrie. You have many opening for fishing in this area and beyond Devin. Pay no mind to this fella.^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ You will enjoy the art of floating Im sure. Welcome to the board. Need any advise, just ask. Ice fishing starts , 6 months from now.
  14. I highly recommend this one. It huge. And you can flip it around with ease. I only got rid of it as I got cold feet in the early ice out waters.
  15. This why you see alot of the trailers on lots look like this. Sure it might not look pretty, but it does the job. WOW 26 years Wayne. Amazing.
  16. I am happy with the Lake Simcoe season. It,s plenty long enough. IMO Just throwing this out there, but, Simcoe is becoming a small mouth big fish factory. IMO, if there was to be an open all year season, there should be a slot for keeping. The smallies here are very healthy. Probly due to the deep waters they are close by too. No warm water smallies to get worm infested. Go ahead and hate. LOL This year, there is going to be a late spawn again, just like last year. The water is still very cold. Heck, the shinners are still hanging out in the marina here.
