It was a packed house yesterday. Not so much today. The snow dog was interesting to look over. Price tag was not so friendly, but realize, it,s a 12 month machine. Granddaughter had a great time.

I started with just a drill and holding on, using a 6" FB3 auger, with an adapter I made, so if the auger came free from the drill chuck, it would not go through the hole. Then I went to an 8" FB3 . That was a lot of auger to hold with just the drill, Both videos are using an old Dewalt. I went and bought the Clam holder. Best $79 I spent. I have the new style. The one where you dont have to remove the chuck. Best re plan Clam did. Lots of guys that bought the first gen, could not remove the grill from the plate at seasons end. Also I now have the Millwacky gen 2 fuel brush less drill. It,s killer. You will notice even with the plate, there is enough torq to twist my hold. You will also notice. In none of the videos, do I push down. Let the auger just bite through the ice on it,s own.

Bear Point booth was a busy place this morning. Taking bookings. That and at the finder. Stupid fish. I know your down there.

Mine is a sleep. Dreaming new ice rod and jigs. I think nanny's home made coco rice crispy cookies helped.

Warm home made bread, spread a big smack of butter and add a sprinkle of cinnamon and brown sugar.. I,ll bet you cant eat only one as well. Option is to smother with molasses. LOL

I have seen many pantrys in my days. I could live in them. Wine,cheese,meat and smoked fish. LOL I lovef Unico hot egg plant, but like you mention, stupid prices. In the 90,s, I was given a jar of home made anchovies. My god, they were so good. I would eat them right out of the jar.

There was a time when Woodyville was called little Italy. Now it is the city of many cultures. I can go down there and get, Italian, Indian,Russian,Asian,Jewish, foods to my hearts content. All this in about 3 hours, then home to enjoy. I hear there is a new Asian market opening up in Barrie. Many of my co workers along with me, cant wait. Before Coppas, it was Highland Farms. The selection and prices were great. Since the split up of the brothers ( That is the story ) the prices are way out of my price range. Fortinos is not fully Italian any more, the same as Longos. Very disappointing, to me any ways. If I do want super fresh meat cuts though, I will go to coppas. They have a great selection, but like I said, their prices are getting out of my range. Now if I only had the key to the back door of Alberts pantry, I could save time in shopping some of the Italian stores.

Theres some old names from the past. Dont post anymore, but still get to see them every ice season. Great people.

Thats the year Terry and I ice fished little lake end of November. That was a great ice fishing season. Ice til Mid April.
