Well after a great day on the water saturday ,I couldnt wait to get out again sunday with my oldest boy and my partner James. Since my son and I are going to be fishing a tourney on Sparrow in a few weeks,we thought we would see what was what.We decide to hit buckets first,he likes the buckets.We hit a nice filled weed bay and it wasnt long before we were into fish. A nice 4 lb chunk followed by another 3+. Ok we like what we seen, so off we go to another bay. Again it didnt take long to get into them again, but smaller fish 2+ pounders,still nice though.James for some reason didnt catch on,well ,he was getting pike,I explained to him they dont count.LOL We check out some other areas that you wouldnt expect to get them and it turned out to be places where we didnt get them.HAHAHA. We drift the last bay of the day and James gets into them and my son nails another 3+ chunk.I miss a solid smack on a jig and chunk.To slow on the reflex.LOL Someone here asked me to give an honest opinion on the wizzle worms and tubes after I had used them. All I can say is,all fish caught both Saturday and Sunday,except for what James caught,were all on Wizzles worms and tubes,and the fish hammered them.. We used them weedless and they produced.

I am going to make it short but all I can say is what an event. Kids had smiles from ear to ear. Boaters that attended made them feel on top of the world. My hat goes off to all the boaters involved and to all the volunteers.Just a super job done by all. And to Mr, David Chong,man I had a super time and thanks for everything today.Totally a class event. My little guy for the event was Dereck. Smart little guy and what a joy to fish with. I had mention we would take it slow at the start with the speed he told me straight out,LET IT FLY BRIAN. LOL Boy was a real trooper. Even managed a few nice bass for his efforts.2.30 smallie and this nice bucket. I will be back next year for sure. I also had the privalge of meeting a few OFC members that I didnt even know where members. My boat gave me away.Hey I know you.LOL Back on the water again Sunday. Later Man what a day. Brandon Im sure will have more photos to add,as he was clicking away all day. BTW dude,Nice fish.

Thats the trick,get out early and get off early,so you dont have to put up with the afternoon ruckus.

It may take a bit to make them bite,but as the day goes on and the sun warms up the waters,they will turn on. Last year I remember fishing the fall challange,day one was calm and foggy,hard to get around but the fish were on. The next day wind and cool and the bite was so way off.Fish just shut down.For me and a few anyways.Got to learn to adapt much more. Im thinking docks are the best bet onthese kinds of days.Thats just imo.

Wow,this morning Im towing the boat home,and truck dosent want to stop.Head over to the local garage I have been using for the last 15 years and he see the names on the boat and truck and asks whats up with that.I explain to him how they came about and low and behold,he,s on board. I get the brakes fixed,siezed adjusters, clean everything up,and says no charge and if I need anything else done let him know. For that He gets added to the sponsor list and an advert on the truck. Others TNT has been there since the pro/ams. On my way home after that I say to myself,self,I got to do something about these sun faded trailer fenders. I stop by the local body shop supplier and he hooks me up and what a nice job and shine. Also picked up a scratch remover for the boat.Look,n good Ok, so now everything is good to go for the weekend,Im jacked as jacked can be and I hope I can atleast get a few winks of shut eye tonight.
