Im thinking it best to stay away from the bog for now till they find out what the heck is going on with the killing spree of fish. Im been hearing that musky and bass are being washed up on shore as well and there are no ducks even staying on the water. The tribes which you got lots of in your area are awesome. Just make sure you read the regs on the boundries bro. Im sure theres got to be spots on Rice I just dont know any. Get yerself a boat.LOL

Crocks and cleos and 10 inch repalas where the baits of choice WAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY back when. LOL Oh and if yer lazy,treble hook sunk into a nice big pink marshmella worked well also. HAHAHAHAHAHA Those were the days.

Im not sure where you are,but I hear tell that there is some of the best walleye fishing in the country in QC.

The thing with the tank is it now has a double liner.All oil tanks are to be replaced and yes it is costly. If you are caught with an old tank the fines are very hefty. A buddy of mine had his in the ground at his house.He had to have the tank dug up and the soil sampled before he could upgrade to the new tank. What they charge to take away the old one may seem steep,but they have to drain,clean and cut in half the tank for disposal Lew.It,s the same as what we went through for the onsite desil tank we had replaced at the factory. New laws say you must have a containment shell. Thats all I know about that.

Nothing wrong with a canoe Ken. I have done lots of fishing from one,well until I got over the 200 pound mark and needed something with a motor to move my fat ar s.LOL Enjoy.

That was my go to lure when I used to cast of the rocks there ar PC. Chartruse with silver prizm tape. Man did that lure catch a heap of fish for me.Chinock,rainbows and browns. Heck even the odd smallie.LOL

I got to tell ya,I have yet to fish for smallies on Simcoe this season but I have to admit,I have been having fun fishing different lakes and catching buckets and learning new waters. The arms alittle sore from flipp,n and pitch,n but man is it fun. My boy and I hit a small lake just west of Barrie and it was just big enough to get the boat in.LOL Lots of fish but really no size,but man they were fun just the same. Fish were caught on Crawtubes and wizzle worms again,in a varity of colours and the top water stuff worked great as well. Boy to watch the explode on a swamp frog.YOOOOOOO SSSSOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNN.LOL Pics from the day.

There I am,just pulling the ribs out of the boiling pot and the phone rings. To my surprise it,s our very own Cisco on the other end.Seems he decided to take the long way to Burliegh falls from TO.LOL He had brought up my newly aquired gps Garmin 76 S and I must say,what a sweet piece of machinery it is (the gps,not Cisco LOL).It,s got every lake that Im going to need and beyond. Even has some PC hotspots,not that I will need them,but ya just never know. We had a nice visit and it sure was nice to see ya again Chris. Thanks again.

Trim tab like Ben said. It helps with thr straight running of the motor (pulling/pushing) from one side or the other.You get a new one and you will have to adjust it so the motor runs true. If it pull/pushs to the left,move right,visa versa .
