Need a new charger pal. It is only putting out 26 volts . Tested on a new battery and the charger went wacky. Just clicking away . Good news is, the charger is cheap to buy.

Now how is the ice and snow conditions Ron ? I need to take a trip up this year. Need to get me bigger laker then the only one I have caught there . LMAO

Thats how we made them in the ole days. You can slide a quarter under the line at the back of the tip up for balancing. Also round off those sharp edges on the holder.

Stick your tong on the terminals. Just like those 9 volts we did as a kid. LOL

Take it to Cabelas, open the charger box,plug it in,put battery on it.

It,s a beast Dan . I would look onto something Terry did with the ski,s. I welded side shields on them so they cupped the side walls. Terry I am sure has some good pic,s of the set up. The front end will float and steer easy.

I remember when I lived in Brampton and Etobicoke. During the winter months I was able to fish the 4 sisters for browns. All winter long. Open water. Simcoe was a thought at times and did some perch fishing and the odd laker fish then through the ice. Had the best of both. Now up here it,s, sketchy ice to fish on, rivers that are either blown,froze over or too cold to fish. I agree. Be winter . Make up my mind.

Those days will fly bye faster then you think. I would just look for wharf's to fish off. Do not get to hung up on the river stuff. Fish the wharf's and get to know the people. Plan a trip for just fishing another time. Yer still young. LOL
