Cool video of the fish in the current, my vote is Muskie for the photo Ryan.

Used 20lb PP last season and it was great. Never had a sudden snap in the line. Now this season I bought some 50lb PP and I'm using it on my jig rod...casted some pike jerkbaits with it feeling rock bottom on the entire retrieve with not one nick or cut in the line. Seemed to do well in that situation fishing.

I ware glasses so had to get Prescription Polarized sun glasses...170 for the Ray-Ban frames...30 for the polarization and the lenses were 200 with 50% off.....wish $20 would of bought me mine

Just skimmed over Zone 20(Lake Ontario) and it seems Pike re-open for fishing on the first Saturday of May being the 1st of May Sound right, 29days sounds to good to be true haha. With the warm weather are jerkbaits going to be the main baits to throw or should I bother giving small sucker's under float's a try. I got out 4 times for the Pike (3 in pickering 1 in oshawa) and only managed 1 fish so it was definitely a hard thing to do catching them in that cold cold water. Anyway just thought I would ask and see what people are doing. PM me if somebody wants to give me a tour of the Pike fishing in the Toronto Islands area. Tightlines, MTBF

Yup, nice channel cat for sure. The bullhead's have rounded caudal fin.

Your right, I just find it funny that ice fishermen or locals would tempt the ice after such warm weather.

Haha, why the hell would people be out when we have had a week of +5 degree weather with the last 2 days over 15 degrees in some places....im 18 and smarter than some of those dummies out on the ice haha(as long as they don't die...)

When do the Shift rods come out onto the market? Send me a PM please. Got to fish a R-Type reel,TS2 rod, and a R-Type rod and I was very very satisfied with them all, had the rtype reel on the TS2 and it was perfect...no backlashes and smooth casts/retrieves. The R-type rod was perfect with my new revo sx...very senesitive and light in the hand
