Parasite Fish swims Up a Mans....

I have been getting them on the steady basis. But nothing huge like last years fish. But then again mind you we are still in the month of MAY. June and mostly July is when things really start to shine for carp season. dsn

Its funny that you should mention that. Cause after fishing the same location for days in and days out I finally figured out the carp pattern where the big ones lurk today. The only scarey part is that if your standing on the shoreline too long the red ants are going to eat you alive like they did me today almost. They started climbing on my shoes then some where all over my back pack. And they bite too. dsn

Theres probably a school of bay catsfish that just hatched there. They usually school up and the parents would care for them. Thats proabaly what you found.

Thought I'd go out and fish the weekend for once. Usually I stay home weekends and try to avoid the shore line crowds. But since it was nice I thought ok I'll go give it a try. Saw quit a few folks fishing. Didn't see anyone catch anything at all. But the fish were hitting. Look in the sky cause I heard a strange plan engine. And this was what I saw. A fighter plane? It's not even time for the canada airshow yet. Wonder what's up with that? We going to war? After the plane few by I looked into the water and saw this letter guy. Spawning by him/her self. So thats what it all comes down to huh? Raising kids on your own. Tough job. After a few fish 3 I left. dsn

Incoming storm. Its very dark here and rainy. No tornados or hail here. What about your area? Should I even be on the computer with incoming storms? dsn Lightning strikes.

Ahh my favorite kinda fishing. The idea situation is a low cloud ceiling looking like its going to rain but it doesn't and no wind if any very little. And 3 days before or 3 days after a full moon. Is the greatest time. Fish the shallows, fish the rocky bolders and deep drop offs. I personally had great luck using a walk the dog lure. I prefer the straight black color or red/white lure. Move the lure but not fast, walk it very slowly across the water ( like snake slithering smoothly) with an occasional long pause. The fish will hit it when its even sitting still. Twiched 2-3 times and let it sit in one spot. The most effective method is to twitch the bait but try to keep it in the same spot. Thats the key. Any fish around will come and check out all the commotion or any ripples on the surface. AND ATTACK IT!! H dsn

Sorry but it isn't the uglystick as of yet. Its the Shimano EXAGE S.T.C.TE I'll only use the Uglystick when fishing for the bigger carp at the island. dsn

Nice cat. You'll get your carp sooner or later. I like the night shot of the ferry with city lights behind it's amazing. I haven't taken any night scene shots with my digital yet. dsn

I have seen them caught before. Cousin George from "Hooked On Fishing" used to catch them and keep some. They would smoke them. I won't touch anything that looks like a snake. I did a search online and heres what I came up with. Pics' Check out this link!! Photos of Amercan eels millions of them

I also voted a minium posts. But I agree that the 10 posts will be cheesy. Heres an idea.. Its a wild one but here goes. Why not have a message board within another message board called the "volt." LOL after being on the main mesage board for about a year. Yep 1 yr!! People who have been a member after a year can get to move into another part of a sceure message board where all pics and photos can be posted and veiwed. And no one who just signed up less than a year can 'pm 'anyone in the volt." Only those who have moved into the volt can "pm" each other. But those who are in the "volt" can still view and post on both boards. Just a imagination gone wild. Not sure if its any good. Beats the 10 posts. Just my 3 cents dsn

I agree with you snog. Can't trust anyone til they prove they are trust worthy. Specially browsers that make thier first post a "pm" directly to you asking for your locations. Like to told my one other friend, not all fishermen are neat and tidy. slobs. Take a look at their tackle boxes and you'll know. dsn
