  3. Well Glen - they say that your as old as you feel - riding the trails today - I felt like I was 18 again HOWEVER - now that I am home relaxing - and the muscles are starting to tighten up - I feel considerably older then 18 NOW! - LOL Don
  4. Trails were in pretty good shape today - hope they stay that way Boy - you got to give alot of thanks to the guys that put all the hours into grooming the trails - they do a great job! BTW - the skidoo touring is Skeeters sled and mine is the Polaris Don
  5. Well Skeeter, his wife Kelly, and myself decided that instead of hitting the lake, we would grab the sleds and head for the trails ( only my 2nd time ever on the trails ). We decided to check out Ganaraska Forest - so off we went. We unloaded the sleds where the 115 and the 35 split and headed east to Bewdley. I can honestly say that I completely enjoyed myself and will definately be going back! Other then the odd snowmobile coming by - the peace and quiet can only be compared to being out on the ice by yourself. Just thought some of you that have never been on the trails would like to see what your missing. Don More pictures to follow

  14. Happy New Year to everyone on the board! I would like to build a sled to tow behind my atv and snowmobile. I want to build it as light as possible and figure aluminum framework would be the best to go to. Can anyone suggest a place where I can purchase aluminum channel (approx 1&1/4" ) and also angle. Any help would be greatly appreciated Don
  15. Thats GREAT news Rick. Jack is lucky to have a friend that cares so much. Good on you Rick for doin' the right thing! Happy New Year to you and Jack Don
  16. Thats funny Roy - I was just thinking the exact same thing!! lol Don
  17. they do help - but you can also pick up a set of downhill skis to put under the hut. A one man hut shouldn't be that hard to pull - but if it is - try the skis - work great - just make sure you pick up downhill skis - not cross country skis. I bought mine at a re-use store for $15.00. Hope this helps. Don
  18. Google Pefferlaw - 401 east to #48 north ( believe that is Marham rd. ). Take #48 all the way up to Pefferlaw - Virginia Beach is where the river meets Lake Simcoe. Don
  19. Thanks for the effort and the info. I am sure alot of us will be glad to hear that! Don
  20. Myself and Skeeter will be there also - sounds like the making of a mini M&G Don
  21. Great report Mike! Looks like a nice place. That is quite the sleigh that they use as a people mover. Don't worry about the skunk - Ice Fishing is just getting started - you'll get'em next trip. Just got to ask - does anybody else notice that the snowman has a striking resemblance to T.J. Don
