  1. I am SOOO ready to go out and get some gear for this, HAHAHAHA! TJ and any other Admin's and MOD's, want anyone to post a poll or you make this a "sticky" thread about this while it get's worked out?
  2. well it is better then "the clap stick"... ok, sorry long day, I'll stop now...
  3. I know I'll be looking for SNAG's post's and checking the line that it's not braid or 50LB floro...
  4. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA, wait I don't need to... all my old stuff is at the cottage and I use it all the time as my fishing gear, can I get an extra $10 at rama then? LOL!
  5. TKS, after all I am only going to make a few ripping jig's for now so I guess I can test it out. I'm sure glad the Mrs doesn't read this or I would be in some maj do-do. I can see it now..."what has happened to all my nail pollish? I never use it but when I want to it's gone?!?!" hehehe
  6. I'm cool with the whole "fish when you can idea" about it, but a GTG to get out and see 20+ people out there doing this would be priceless (well $10.00 or less per person but you get the point ). Anyone think that the time from Aug 29 to Sept 7 is a good time? It is the last week before the kid's head back to school and it cover the long weekend. I mean, those that cannot do a GTG and have maybe a day or 2 to get out can post the fish with said rod, reel and lure from any days in that time? And then the others that can make a GTG post those? these are just ideas as I think this would be too damn funny to see the pic's and see what goes on - on the water with this "gear"....
  7. thank you all. i wonder if le baron has one of those air brush kits as i just got a $100.00 giftcard... humm, i must go and have a look...
  8. great idea! post when and where and if I can make it I'm in for sure! HAHAHAHA
  9. I'm sure the big "french ladies" will love that 8"er...
  10. Not to hyjack this but the RAM 2500/3500's also have a front end recall out...
  11. BINGO! I wonder what the new Ford fishing package is called? Fishing Or Rescue Design?
  12. tks EC1! As for the nail polish, I find it smells when you open it up BUT not sure if it smells a week after you paint the jig and toss it in the lake... any other info would be great too.
  13. Hi all. I am sure that my question has been asked but I didn't find what I was looking for when I did a google search. So, what is the best paint to use when painting a jig head? Can I take my wife's nail pollish and use it and not worry about it (sent from it) in the water days after painting? does marker work and stick? What I want to know is what can I use that will work, work well and not have a sent to it when wet. also, can I get said paint anywhere and not have to go to a special shop? Thanks!! G
  14. that fish is so old and so big it has "perm-a-tan" to get that dark. Good on ya!
  15. HAHAHA, I've got to remember that one! Cause I'm a "jerk" 99% of the time on a good day... I've been stoped 2 times in the past 2-years so every Jan.2nd I'm getting a new sticker. I even have 2 local MNR guys numbers on speed dial in my cell and the TIPS line for those times when I see something wrong going on but it's not my place to say something to them. The CO can come and watch and call it at the end of the day. Good on them for being out! (my lake has the MNR out all year round and it's a tiny lake but they need to be there and they do a damn good job). Oh and the 2 times I was asked for my card, it wasn't on my lake... Geoff

  24. Hey all. Well it's about time I got a new PB! I snuck off to the cottage this weekend to spend time with my family and snuck in some time fishing too. Just before I got this fish I looked at my watch, looked at my father and said "see ya, it's walleye bite time". Not even 30 min after I said that I hooked into this nice one; 25 1/4" long, 12" girth and 4 LB 12 OZ. I missed 4 more as I was using a rather long stick worm so they were holding on to the worm and not hooked. However it was a good bass fishing weekend with over a doz. landed (all camera shy as they were all in the 1LB range). Now all I need is the wind to work with me in 2 weeks and not be so bad so I can get the kids out in the boat too... well, no more talk, here is the fish...
  25. My .248 means I had a "good beer day" then I guess...
