Pam, I don't have a website yet but I am planning on starting one. I think I may just do the do-it yourself kind for 30$/mth but I would have no clue how to go about selling the photos through the website.....I'd prefer to just sell the file or the download but have no idea how stuff like that works....if anybody has some insight into this i'd greatly appreciate the advice..... and glad you liked the pics irishfield

Deep Cove has a website with some photos on it and I decided to set a goal for myself and try and get some of my pictures on the towns website...here are a few I took today......They also sell photos in the local corner store but due to a language barrier I was unable to find out if I could get my photos sold there......anyways heres some more pics of Deep Cove

Deano, both those pics are 3 exposures each. the second pic is as follows......shot 1= f/3.5, iso 200, exposure 2.5sec.....shot 2= f/3.5, iso 200, exposure .6sec.....shot 3= f/3.5, iso 200, exposure 10 sec. Kev, No Ice......just the slow shutterspeed gives it that smooth, calm look

It's snowing like crazy here in Vancouver today so I took advantage of the good photo opportunity and went up to a trail on Seymour. We came across a bridge and apparently it is haunted......caution what you are about to see may give you the feeling that you are trippin balls.....but I assure you there is an explanation......however I'll let you guys see if you can figure it out......its not hard lol This is a photo of the first ghost as she walked away from the camera Next is a ghost couple walking away from the camera And finally a ghost in blue..... Hopefully none of you are freaking out too bad.....if you are then...well....i guess just deal with it.....i warned you Now for the snowman on vacation..... and lastly, a Pilleated Woodpecker

its 430am here so I don't have the energy to explain all the pics but here ya go. First one is at Cypress Creek of an area I've never shot before This next one is of a bridge i've taken pictures of before but used some different camera settings and put the camera real looooow Next stop on the tour was Lynn Creek where I took this photo And finally I hit up Deep Cove after seeing that the moon was out in full force.... sorry for all the pics of the same locations......

for 500$ your gonna be basically limited to older used gear but i'd say thats best to start off with. I'm using a 4 year old Canon Digital Rebel 6.1megapixel and it works fine for me. try craigslist and other local classifieds.....chances are theres somebody upgrading and would sell you their old stuff......and you can't go wrong with nikon, canon, or pentax.....pentax has vibration reduction in the body of the camera and also accepts any pentax lens so it gives you more options.....anyways thats my 2 cents and I'm sure some of the pros here can help you out

very nice work Pam.....you have quite a talent

Last night around 1030 I went and picked up a lady friend and took her for a walk around Deep Cove.....here's what I ended up with Here is a panoramic shot like most of the other ones i've taken of DC but its just dark this time lol And here is a shot of the peak of the yacht club there

one of the finest HDR photos i've seen.......well done

It seems every post of mine starts off like this but it finally stopped rainin today and I decided to go hike in the white stuff on seymour.......the place was dang packed.....everybody had toboggans and were zippin all over the place......most of them were tobogganing close to the parking lot....where there is 4" of snow at best.....people here seem to be either impatient waiting for a real snow fall or just too lazy to hike up to where there is some fresh powder.....To avoid being taken out at the knees by renegade sledders I headed off to Mystery Lake and there were no footprints to be seen.....perfect. If you remember a few weeks back I posted a photo with a tree with some dog tracks behind it in the snow. Well I wanted to sort of capture another scene like that one but I couldn't find any animal tracks so I had to use my own for this first shot.... I continued around the lake and made my way to a small peak and took this panoramic shot... and now....the Tribute.... Since neither my camera or lenses have any sort of image stabilization, taking most photos and especially HDR photos, would not be possible.....That being said, I present you with this HDR photo of......my tripod..........sorry guys i was bored lol enjoy

almost looks like that was taken in the caribbean....nice shot deano
