  1. make sure you change them to 300dpi before you print too. This can be done in photoshop in the "resize" column
  2. We got some precip overnight and this afternoon the weather began to clear which meant a great day for HDR pics.... This first one is a panoramic photo of Science World, BC Place(where the BC Lions Play), and False Creek This next one is a closer, more abstract view of Science World Here is the skytrain just before it enters the Science World Station From Science World we headed to Stanley Park and ended up taking most of our pics at the south end of it near English Bay... Here is my roommate taking advantage of low tide for a photo These are 2 kayakers out enjoying the nice day and finally my roommate taking another photo under a sweet looking sky enjoy
  3. nice shots......thanks for the chill lol
  4. I really like that second pic Dan
  5. awesome pics man......theyre all great but I really like that last one
  6. Tonight I headed up the road that takes you to Cypress Mountain. On the way up there is a lookout and it offers a great view of the city. I've taken pics from here before but I'm not sure if I've posted them. Anyways here they are This view shows a good portion of the lower mainland; Vancouver, North Van, West Van, Burnaby, New Westminster, and Richmond. This is the same view but I zoomed in on the Lions Gate bridge and Vancouver And here is a shot of the Cypress Provincial Park sign with the light trails of passing vehicles
  7. thanks for the kind words guys
  8. Well guys today is the day I finally sold my first picture. As some of you know I have my personal website (www.brandonbroderick.com) as well as a shutterpoint website (http://www.shutterpoint.com/Photos-BrowseU...r_id=BBRODERICK). Anyways my personal website is basically just a portfolio of my pictures but it also has a link to my shutterpoint site where the photos can actually be purchased. On shutterpoint people can purchase low or high resolution photos for online use for $.99 to $4.99 or they can pay the full amount for Online based usage as well as in print. You can set the full price to whatever you want but the minimum is $20....mine was sold for its full price of $20.00.....anyways I just want to thank you guys for all your input because I use your opinions to judge which pics I think can potentially sell....thanks for taking the time to read this and here is the selling pic
  9. thanks guys.....hey fireball....here is the HDR version of the first pic
  10. Had a break inbetween jobs today and I was near the water so I decided to take some pictures to kill some time at Jericho Beach. Here are 2 that turned out ok The northshore mountains tower over a nearby marina and Vancouver in the distance....the one main mountain you can see in this pic is Mt. Seymour(3 snowy humps in a row behind the sailboats). from right to left goes first pump peak, second pump peak, and the mt. seymour summit I saw this lonely man watching a duckless pond and decided to turn it into an HDR photo Afterwork there was still plenty of light so I headed to Kitsilano Beach and took this panoramic photo of Vancouver, Stanley Park, and the North Shore Mountains (Cypress Mountain at the far left, Grouse Mountain to the right of that, and Seymour again behind the sky scrapers) And lastly, a night shot from Granville Island of the Burrard Bridge

    Whistler

Had a job interview in Whistler today so I brought my camera along and took a few pics. Theres none of the village because its Washington College week there so the place is packed and I don't like taking picture of people without their permission. These 3 were taken on a trail leading north of town.... the mountain you can see in this pic is Blackcomb.....Whistler is out of frame to the right and here is one from yesterday at Lighthouse Park in West Van of my roommate taking a picture. He just bought a digital SLR so I've been bringing him to a few of the places that I've taken pics before.

    Grays park

This park is located about 5 houses east of our house....heres 3 pics of it and my favourite one..
  13. Headed to Maple Ridge, BC today for a hike in Golden Ears Provincial Park. I had only been there one time before so I tried a different trail today and was very dissapointed as far as photo taking goes. It was thick, thick trees with hardly any scenic views. The first pic is one of the very few streams along the 6km round trip hike. and this pic is Alouette Lake in the park was hoping for more pics but was a wasted day in that sense but it was great to get out and hike again.....also a nice break from the constant rain. enjoy
  14. Rain finally quit this afternoon so I had to get out and take a few pics. I decided my subject today would be 2 of the bridges heading into downtown Vancouver....The Burrard St. Bridge and the Granville St. Bridge. This is the Granville St. Bridge and I felt the only way to show it was as a panoramic.... And this one is the Burrard St. Bridge...
  15. cool pic man. hope ya feel better
