  1. Right on fellas!!! All this to chew on will certainly help. After I plow through these next 3 nightshifts I hope to get up sometime on Monday and pop up a Kesagami Report. Took 4 videos and wanted to add them in with the pics. Thanks guys. And Brian... Don't you just love that tune??? Gawd, I do. That beat is like my "Going Fishin'" song I hum when touring up the lake. Ha!
  2. Doods!?!?!? Got some videos to pop into an upcoming report that I'll wanna feed here from YouTube. How do I make it so that the video screen pops up into the report to play/watch it on the OFC page... and not just have it link people off site? Thanks.
  3. Lake Nipi-what??? Never actually heard first-hand or even really seen a Nipissing report that does the lake any favors from a positive walleye fishery stand-point. Methinks that lake needs a total overhaul to improve, starting with the nets and regs. Just my 1-cent from what little I know of Nipissing.
  4. Doug... killer numbers of eyes dood! And some dandy size. That's a FUN week.
  5. Taken by a friend on our last sturgeon trip west.
  6. Some nice eyes... even if they're bulging out a little. lol. Think the others have said enough for the help.
  7. Solid time out fishing Will. Great pics.
  8. For probably 4-5 years now... Simply my 6'6" Clarus Ultralight med-fast 2-piece with 8-10lb PowerPro & 6-8lb Drennan floro leads, spooled up on a 1000 series reel.
  9. Too many great photos and thoughts to speak of with this one Mike. A truly great and appreciated time for all involved. Pics and vids... stellar as always. Report... A+ dooood! All my girls have been away nearly 6 weeks now... this little diddy of yours pulls at papa's heart strings.
  10. Outcast for sure!!! http://www.outcastboats.com/outcast/products/default.aspx?series=10
  11. Some great fishing 4X4. Really nice looking fish!
  12. Too hot to sleep at work last night. Actually had to keep busy for some breeze. lol.
  13. Ottablah!!! Nice work on the Larry!
  14. Perfect panners Jacques. Wicked fishing. If my girls were just a little younger they'd have an aneurysm from the excitement of watching those little fish heads fry in the pan.
  15. I like ones with narrower arms just in case the current hat gets tight to the top of my ears. That way, my ears don't stick out as much when I wear both. Polarized sunglasses... amber lenses. Couldn't much care what brand as long as they're cool enough looking, don't argue with me and do what they're supposed to do.
  16. Some stellar photos. Read this last night. Gave a grin when you mentioned about hiking in the beer. The second pic reminds me very much of a portage taken just before 9/11 while up in Temagami doing much the same you and your crew did. Great report.
  17. Will when I do! Last trip taken it just proved to me again why the tiller is better and easier for much of the fishing I do.
  18. Started with a float tube... and likely when I'm old and grey and they've taken my licenses away, I'll end in one too. So many solid options but it's all based on your use and budget. Pontoon boats if you're not hoofin' them in too far and have the car space are a better plan than a float tube really. Good luck!
  19. OMG!!! I never saw this spring carnage before. Ressurect the PIGS... Lord of the Flies guys!!!
  20. Some nice ones! Congrats MW!
  21. Tried an electric several times but always prefer my 7 & 9-inch Rapalas. Ahhhhhhhhhh!
  22. "You're going to a small" lake for the "weekend." RC... I say you just pound on anything that looks fishy until you get what you're after. And depending where in the N.E. or the lake temps/characteristics, you can certainly catch pike in shallow (under 10 feet) but more likely in ANY cabbagio you find.
