I think you could both be right..its a spring fed lake and nobody ever fishes on it so there is nobody else to really talk to about it and very few sled seem to cross it.

Most places I ice fish the ice is 6 to 8 inches thick and hard on top. This one spot in particular just got dumped on with a foot of snow in 2 days. So I went and drilled a bunch of holes and each spot kept the water on top instead of running back into the hole and "drying" up. Does this mean that the snow is just melting from on top of the ice or could it be a spring that constantly puts water on top..I don't recall seeing water like this before here. Thanks

That style hut is awesome to set up..taking down is easy aswell the only issue I have is once the roof and sides are popped back in it takes me 5 to 10 minutes to get it to fold up without binding.. Is there a trick to this that I am missing?

I am going to ottawa next weekend and I am looking for some information on some possible locations to take my friend. I remember a couple years ago we were walking up the rideau but I don't know if there would be enough ice on there yet. Thanks guys

Went to canadian tire today, the ht 4 man instashak price was $ 299. I asked when it would go on sale and was told second week of january..asked how much, $50 off. So total $250. Went to the lebaron website as suggested and saw the same hut for $212 dollars. The two man is $150. Thinking of going there now.

I came across the killzone igloo xl its 160 us, I can't find anywhere that will ship to canada. On ebay there was a two man tundra tuff by eastman, but I cannot find a four man. I really didn't think it would be that hard to get one of these.

Hey flick I'm a gas tech 2 , been employed for about 3 years. I've applied to st.clair college in windsor to take a two year program to come out with a fourth class ticket.. I realize with the right companies the benefits are very attractive.. Do you think it is worthwhile to go to college for two years or do you think I can get it by working? If working is the way to go where could I start in order to land my first job and become fourth class? Thanks Jason
