  1. Yeah, no kidding. Did you lose a bet?
  2. Looks like a great year to me!
  3. Let me simplfy this for you. Let's say I was cleaning out my car and FOUND MONEY under the seats. I now have $1.53 in my pocket that I didn't expect to have. Gee, maybe I'll treat myself to a coffee. When we sold, we didn't plan on getting full asking price or over asking price. That's not the trend in London. So we have a few unemcumbered bucks to spend.
  4. Okay, so I'll put you guys as 2 votes for Minnkota. I'll consider the reviews. As for Maytag being garbage; how about enlightening the rest of the class?
  5. She did work her butt off prepping for showings and painting stucco ceilings. And it will fill the 30" void in the counter top at the new place. On the other hand, she could use the Terrova as a counter mounted mix master.
  6. This poll is going horribly wrong, how do I delete it?
  7. LOL Jim, for some reason she can't access the internet from her computer.
  8. We listed our house for sale Tuesday and had multiple offers yesterday. We accepted an offer a little over asking price (yay!) and that now leaves us with a dilema. I'm looking for an unbiased opinion on where we should invest our little bit of 'found money'. I'm leaning in one direction, my wife is leaning in another. To be fair, I won't say who prefers what. Maytag Gemini Minkota Terrova
  9. You should consider one for Lakair. Oh wait, you have! Chris has done his share of guiding on the West Arm for Kevin but I guess that's different since y'all are just friends.
  10. We made it happen at JJ's. I can see the Leafs lose any night of the week but I don't get to see these folks but for once or twice a year. Great post Mike and it was nice to see you again. The fishing was slow but the weather and good times made up for it!
  11. Nice fish Dave but did you really have to hold so close to the camera? One can only dream!
  12. Lloyd probably has room on his morning charter before picking up Terry, Wayne and Dano for the afternoon run.
  13. Mike the Pike should be nearing Ontario - Quebec customs by now.
  14. Is it from the 'oldies' station? For those about to rock - fire We salute you For those about to rock, we salute you Those about to rock - fire We salute you Fire We salute you We salute you
  15. I just tucked my boat in for the winter and my storage guy has 2 spots left. Suitable for 18' boats or cars and will cost $40/month. Clean and dry indoor storage on concrete. In three years, I've never had any trouble arranging pickup or drop off times. Just tell him when and he's there. Call for details: Brian 519-866-5773 He's located in Richmond Ontario. 10 minutes south west of Tilsonburg off Hwy 3 Or 45 minutes south east of London View Larger Map
  16. And here I was all excited about moving into a new house with a double garage. Thanks for tarnishing that dream!
  17. I got you into the "the bubble"... 25th. Get a picture up there!
  18. 41 yrs and you're already putting air in the tires? Try nitrogen.
  19. I think on Friday I might just take my boat into storage and then stop in for a couple/three hours in Woodstock. I just fell into $500 play money... just enough for another Tekota and fill the tank on the Suburban. P.S. if anyone needs indoor storage near Woodstock, lemme know... $40/mo for a 17-18'er. Nice clean building with concrete floor... pretty sure he still has room.
  20. Raf, BF MT's aren't bad in the snow... keep in mind, I think our RWD Astro van handles good in the snow too so your mileage may vary. Chunky treads clump up with snow and don't clear well.... Mud Kings, Pro Comps, Super Swampers etc. BFG MT's are a tighter but still agressive tread pattern. True mud runners laugh at the notion of them being mud tires. They should be considered an AT tire. Don't get me wrong; they're a great tire overall, just not a great 'mud' tire. I had 29's-33's on my XJ. The best winter tire was the 32x9 BFG AT. The best all around tire was the Goodyear MTR 31" and my 33" BFG MT were too big for the street and too wide for the snow. Tons o fun offroad though! Siping your 29's will help especially in slushy wet weather but probably negligable difference in snow. 31" Toyo OC AT's going on my Suburban tomorrow to replace the Mich LTX AT's. I hope I don't regret it! Sometimes wide is good floating your 2' ground clearance on 2 1/2 feet of snow!
  21. And Percher! (90%)
  22. Jocylen is always my first call on big ticket stuff and I seldom make a second call. If he's not the cheapest, he's damn competitive and you won't find better service and support.
  23. Burn it.
