  1. Awesome what a great looking day and to have her pops with you guys is just the icing on the cake. Great looking sign Juli
  2. Rolly I started in the clan water west of XE2 where I had a nice follow the day before she was no where around so I moved to go to my area that was still nicely stained. Dan I was wondering what boat you guys were at the 7:30 blast off the first two boats out at 7am were gone did they all leave at 7am for the first group? If so these guys had there seat belts pulled tight BOOGITY BOOGITY BOOGITY leets got BASSIN guys Thanks Mr Jeep L2F there is a very healthy population down here but the structure is the hard part to find and locate the fish. They do follow a lot but that is the fun part I would rather have the little fish follow and give me some excitement boat side then put a hole in there head I just want Bertha that's why I am going to hire Joens to come out on my boat and guide me
  3. I can say that these guys are great young guys who have a huge passion for fishing and musky. These guys are our future and they know how to handle these fish they have paid there dues this year with many hours casting LSC and finding the fish and getting them to bite they will be around for a long time and will be able to be better suited for all musky fishing situations. I also started with a Salmon net I did not know better but my first 47" fit in and 48" fit in I knew that I needed a bigger net but could not afford one at the time when I could I got one from the Muskies Canada Odyssey (there is one April 2013 just in case anyone wanted to know 2013 Odyssey link) I used CTC bolt cutters usually go on sale for $8 (I still use them for cutting the wire on every bait I have made) that was what I could afford at the Odyssey I got Knipex cutters $40 instead of $60-$80. What Im trying to say is these guys do everything they have to get these fish in and released unharmed I give them a huge KUDOES for posting there videos and taking the time to edit them its a lot of work and time. For what its worth Ron will be getting a net in a couple weeks and Jones will be fishing with other guys who have the proper nets for all there other gear these guys are well suited. These guys are students working there summers away and fishing when they can putting money into there vehicles to get them to school this fall so there money is well spent and prioritized (thanks spell check) Joey I know you meant no harm with your comments I made the same ones on our local board yes they need a bigger net and YES IAN needs net skills Sorry Jones Had to add it in LOL. Joey is another class act here as many know but I am not going to start to pump all her great quality's the list is to long and Paul will get depressed
  4. Yes it's the Gopro. I have to wear socks because so many people give me crap about musky fishing bare foot do I figure socks will keep em quiet guyss not. Thanks all I'm tempted to get another one for a different angle
  5. Well it was to nice of a day to sit at the house or drive around looking for keys so I was off to chase some slime I headed over to one area that has been good to me but it was not working so I headed over to anotehr area that did not give up any fish yesterday just lots of scratching of my head. Any way here is a video from today sorry for the clicking noise it must be the mounts I have my gopro on I added extra risers I had to try and get it up over my arms to help give a better look at the figure 8 but it is annoying to hear to me anyway. Enjoy the video
  6. I know for a fact if this was last year and Brian had his Old boat he would have been fishing but its hard to start chopping a New boat up with just 1/2 a season under it.
  7. Or driving 5 hours sitting around in the pouring rain then driving back 5 hours and call it a weekend trip after 14 hours with kids wife and dog in a van Joey I think your and I are making him feel a little bit better. Well maybe not after I do up a video of today fishing on LSC
  8. Brian I wish you had called me when it first happened I would have come and got ya the best part is you did not miss out on any 50"ers today just a few nice sized ones and a great day ion the water man was it nice out. Oh wait you know all this from us talking earlier. On a good point I will be getting another key for my boat I always leave mine with my supply bag it has my release tools GPS/Sonar and everything else I need for the day so if I have no key im missing alot more then just a key.

  15. It's funny the looks I get in November when I am out there in cutoffs and shorts. The best was when I was telling the MNR I thought they were crazy going out when the weather was so bad it was blowing the lake had 3-4' waves and I was heading out in my summer cloths both MNR officers looked at me like I was nuts
  16. I want to get another Gopro with the dive housing and have it recording underwater just beside the boat most days you can see to the bottom. Even in the stained water that day I had 3' I could see.
