I am looking to update my downriggers,used ones are hard to find that are a cpl years old,my question is,does anyone know of a dealer that has good pricing on new ones,looking for Cannons I'm thinking.I have called a few stores and "let me get some prices and I'll call you back" syndrome.Would appreciate any input.I sold my older ones and gotta blow the dough,its burning a hole in my pocket.

I have been going a few years now,shop for two only,it pays for itself over the year,but don't get to thinking everything is a bargain,because it isn't.You have to know prices before picking up everything you want to buy.And somethings they are only there for a short time and you may never see that item again.

Was at the show from 1 to 4, like buddy says SSDY,didn t see any big deals,listened to Paul do his seminar,always good. All in all was ok, a day out.

Well the fishing wasn't so good on Simcoe today,so I dediced to head in,got about 1-1.5 miles from Willow and got caught in the slush,made it through a few spots on the way in,but the last one got me,got my shovel out and started digging,and 2guys and a gal,seen me in there and came over to help,the big Poaris hooked his winch cable on and pulled me out easily,I sure appreciated the help or I would still be there probably.I didn t get thier names but,again,if they are on here,Thank you very much again. Yesterday I helped dig a lad out that was stuck in it,so,what goes around comes around.

I got a Silverado last March, always had GM/Chev, but I drove a Ford for a week and didn t care for it too much, the seating in the cab is much higher,and didn t care for the ride, but thats just my op,I got a good deal on the Chev, list at 48000,got it out the door for 37000 taxes in.tonneau and boards in. and fairly well loaded,leather and all the unecessary gadgets. gl in your hunt,if you are in the market pm me and i ll give you a good contact in Toronto region,nobody has come to his price in the last 4 trucks iv e had in the last 12 yrs.

I overpaid for mine,a piece of 1/2"pine 3ft long cut into 1 ft lengths, $2.00 Hasn t broken yet,doesn t freeze up,and holds plenty of line and don t get line twist. Might up grade to 14" lengths. keep the pin tight !
