Wasn't dead at all where I was.. First trib was a bust, no flow at all... Second trib was a bust for us, but some other guys were nailing them pretty good. I think we saw about 6-7 fish out of a single hole. Berge had a really nice one on, but he had a tackle malfunction and she snapped off. Had to be smacking them in the face with the bait today for sure... Anything is better then sitting at home, maybe I'll put some more hours in on the Notty tomorrow.

Ben, the recall letter for my dad's GMC 2500HD that we imported from Florida was from a US dealer and the RIV accepted it with no issue.. I don't see why they wouldn't accept yours... They don't care who it comes from, they just want to make sure it's authentic...

Lew, you didn't get a dash mount plastic peice with your unit? It has double sided tape on one side, and smooth plastic on the other. You just use the suction cup against the smooth plastic like you do the windshield...

Most likely changed the regs.. GM charges $250 for the recall letter, BMW $500.... Dealers had to do something to deter people from buying in the US.... Also, the dealer in the US should be able to print out the letter for you stating there are no current recalls on the machine...

I didn't get out last weekend because I had gf duty. I really don't want to hit the Notty again just to get skunked, I'm starting to hate that river I am sure a drive to Meaford or Thornbury would be great, but I've never fished the Bighead before so I'd probably just waste my time. Then there are the Lake O tribs, but if you get more then 4 guys there is no more room. Plus it's a good 2hr drive to anywhere productive from Barrie. Should I sit at home and drink the bottle of Crown my neighbour brought over lastnight instead?

My oldman loves fishing out the back of our tiller.... Quick access to the graphs, the bait bucket, the sump, battery, fuel tank etc etc... Console are also more money

I am just going to use this setup to bomb a slip float or some hardware out into the middle of the mud hole I won't be drifting with it much. Maybe I'll just stick to my 7' St.Croix and the Calais, I don't wanna blow a tonne of money on a rod I'll use a dozen or so times a year.
