  1. Whatever you get make sure it says Garmin on the front of it
  2. February isn't prime time for tarpon in the keys.. you'll wanna get down there in June/July.
  3. You should have no problems chucking spoons or even using giant skein chunks down there. That place is full of fish.
  4. There is no one else to blame then those Canadian companies outsourcing their Tier I and Tier II support to India I run a group of 50 guys over in Bangalore.. Awesome guys, but of course there are always the language issues.. Quick tip if you want to speak to someone english, press #2 for french, you'll get someone in Quebec that speaks both.
  5. It's there, but yeah Mapquest doesn't always show it You need to really zoom down to see the 667. When you hit Sultan that's where the paved portion begins.. You'll make a left at the end of the dirt road and continue on to the 129.. Then a right on the 129 which eventually turns into the 101, then through Wawa and eventually you'll hit the 17. It looks a bit complicated when zoomed all the way down in Mapquest, but there is no way you could ever mistake one of the side roads for the main road. You'll see what I mean when you take it, it's very well traveled.
  6. Let's hope she is still swimming. It would be interesting to see how long it took them to revive her.. Good thing about 8lb test, she didn't have to do much work to either snap the line or make the drag scream.
  7. 69, to 17, to 144 to Sultan Rd, to 129, to the 101, to the 17.. Will save you over an hour easily... The Sultan Rd is a logging road owned by Domtar, we used it twice on our trip to Nipigon(there and back). It was in really great shape, averaged a good 80km/h the entire way.
  8. After 40 mins I bet that fish is belly up somewhere...
  9. Shouldn't have any issues getting mackerel this time of year at the river mouths.
  10. I've never really had that problem, even steelhead fishing.. Maybe cause I'm not the most approachable looking guy on the banks? However, after coming back to my spot after landing a fish I have found people thinking the spot I was some kind of gold mine. I'll get right up besides them and start drifting away (not in tune with them of course) But yeah, that's bull, I would have tossed a few casts his way for sure...
  11. Until you find your current terminal tackle isn't doing the job, save your $$$$..
  12. Nice!!!! I am sure that casting deck is going to get a lot of use
  13. Let me email by buddy who works for the coast guard in Hamilton. He'd have this apart in about 5 mins, lol... BTW, the link was to a list of all the parts in the engine. You gotta select one in order to see the exploded schematic (Extension Case would be what you'd most likely want)
  14. Hey Mike, You'll have to remove those additional for 4 bolts and the shift rod will have to come apart (like you thought it would). After that the entire lower end should come off without to many issues. Here is a schematic... those 4 bolts might *not* have to come off after looking at the diagrams.. http://www.boats.net/parts/search/Honda/Ou...9999/parts.html
  15. Common sense and law rarely go together in the same sentence.. Did the contractor who did the driveway have a permit?
  16. I wouldn't get rid of it, but separate it all depending on application. I don't lug all my float gear when I go muskie fishing and vice versa...
  17. Smooths out the tolerances quite a bit. It will spin forever after that!
  18. Another wild guess, but is the CDI grounded properly to the frame?
  19. You getting 12v at the starter when the start button is engaged? Could be the starter solenoid.
  20. Ignition switch? With the key turned on, you should have power to the CDI. If you don't, your switch it most likely toast.
  21. Any guess on what 95% of the lakers we got on Nipigon were caught on? That's to funny.
  22. I usually use the improved Trilene knot for mono and flouro, the palomar for braid... I find that if I don't make enough twists with braid while using a Trilene knot, it will slide through...
  23. I can always count on you Bob to stir up a truck thread!!!! hahaha Brian, 60k for that Ford is insane.. That's getting into the big 3 diesel price range...
