  1. Yup, it's easy pickings.. Maybe someone should make the government of Ontario aware of the potential earnings with all the fines given I'm sure the rivers would belined with CO's then.
  2. Ah Jim, I knew I could count on your for a funny reply I'm not a fan of dunking the reel in the river, unless it's really dirty.
  3. Man, I would drive down to Barrie just to nail all those guys.... Would be nice if the MNR started it back up.
  4. How the heck do I get that inner bearing out? The one below the cap comes right out, but the inner one I'm not to sure. I'd like to soak them and get them ready for this year... Mikey? I'd hate to have to run down to Toronto in order for Tom to do it himself...
  5. Oh, I got the guy for that a buddy of Solo's, fished with him last year once. I'm 6'3, 240lbs and he dwarfs me :)
  6. Those are the ones I use!!! Although, I gotta admit 90% of my fish come on roe.
  7. Time to make a trip up to the Sault!!!! My trip out east for work was canceled, I should take 3-4 days and do this
  8. Cause school buses are 'safe' /sarcasm. I dunno why, good question. Although you can't compare a 6 year old and a baby that's 18months...
  9. They'd nail a marshmellow for sure, I've caught more then a few down at Port D on them when I was a kid... Are they generally used for flossing fish? Yes
  10. Hey Al, I'm pretty sure the kid needs to be in the car seat even if it's a cab or a bus.
  11. That last fish is a pig!!! Good job man! I nailed my first steely of the year about 30 mins ago Nice to pluck one out infront of at least a dozen guys noses!
  12. Any of the Berkley Gulp trout worms work fine... Pink, red, yellow, etc etc.
  13. Trust me, I was smacking them in the nose with pretty much everything.. they were busy chasing each other around trying to mate
  14. That's why they didn't look at any of the offerings I was feeding them up here last week
  15. I should have capitalized BIG, cause seriously that is a monster resi!!!! lol
  16. That looks like a big resident, not a lake fish.
  17. I'd personally save the pics and get a replica done when you can afford it.
  18. I was only busting your balls It's a great resource to have, that's for sure.
  19. Not even as close to as much as they did when they were in the harbour, hence the reason for the 'other' tactics
  20. Once they are in the river, it's a losing battle. Unless you wanna snag or floss them...
  21. What I meant is you'll still need to do the legwork to go fish the rivers then compare the flow to the actual flow data. ie, you'll figure out what flow numbers work for what river...
  22. I am kicking myself for not getting up to the Sault for Atlantics this year...
  23. Next will come the 'what flow rates are fishable for the (insert river name here)' questions
