  1. Lake Simcoe as a few. I pulled one out of 115ft of water the other day.
  2. Had the same issue with my gas stove last year, replaced ignitor problem solved.
  3. Nice fish boys!!!!
  4. Luckily there are lots of dolphins.
  5. There will be lots and lots of dinks inbetween any decent fish. Pretty much the way it's been out on Simcoe this year. At least you'll have steady action!
  6. I use a 36lb Thrust Minn Kota Endura on my 'toon. Does the job well enough.
  7. I've been under a few times in my waders, it's not like water just pours in there like everyone would think. I swam a good 5-6 seconds with my waders completely underwater and I took maybe 4-5 cups of water out of them at the car.. I was soaked, but far from filling up with water and pulling me downstream to my death, lol.
  8. I wouldn't consider that deep.. 80-130ft for lakers/whities is what I'd consider deep.
  9. I use braid regardless. Takes a wee bit of work to get the line off the spool if it's frozen (If you're outside in the elements) but well worth it compared to mono.
  10. Mini candle holders under each guide? LOL!
  11. A little 2-4hp gasser will be much easier. I can't imagine lugging a 70lb battery around (Actually yes I can, that's what I use on the back of my pontoon!)
  12. Very cool man! Let us know how it works.
  13. You don't need much heat at all to turn ice into water.... A few degrees above zero is all that's needed.
  14. I was thinking some wire around each guide, held in place with some nail polish then run back down to the handle.. A low voltage watch battery or something. You don't want it hot, just warm to keep the ice from forming...
  15. Shouldn't be very hard, especially for ice rods... I'd love it on my pin! I wouldn't know where to begin however.
  16. I wouldn't admit guilt, there's no way a police officer should have given you a ticket while you were on your way home with a NEW bulb ready for replacement. Plead not guilty, get your court date and the judge will probably get a laugh and toss it out. I'm all for going in and pleading to a lessor charge if you've actually done someone wrong, but no way I'd do that in this case. That's complete Bull. Make sure you bring your receipt with you that shows the time/date on it!! Easily showing you knew you had the issue and were in the process of fixing it.
  17. He's wrong, look at the back of your ticket. Simply fill it out and drop it in the mail.
  18. There's a drink in that picture? I didn't notice
  19. Bruce, you got a 'fix it' ticket.. I've had them before. This is what the OP should have got to be honest. I can't believe the cop even gave him a ticket, lol! Should we start posting our good cop/bad cop stories? I've got some great ones!!!
  20. Request a court date on the back of the ticket, drop it in the mail. You'll receive your court date in a month or so.
  21. You're blaming the government because you ran out of ink on your printer?
  22. Yeah, that's not a floater suit...
  23. One thing I've learned from this thread is that I'm going to start calling BB, Harold
  24. I use the exact same screws on my Simms G4 Guide boots.. A lot cheaper them the Simms studs!
  25. I remember when St.Catharines was mentioned on the Tonight Show having the most donut shops per capita anywhere in North America.. That's when donuts were good! Anyone remember Homestead Donuts? Oh man, to die for!
