  1. Nagagami is on the Garmin Inland Lakes chip. (Although you can only run these maps on a Garmin unit) http://www8.garmin.com/cartography/inland/canada_lists/Ontario.pdf
  2. People are driving all over Simcoe.
  3. If I'm running R-bend spinnerbaits, then an improved clinch it is with a flouro or mono lead..
  4. Been a hard sell all season it seems.
  5. Improved clinch for mono and flouro Uni-Uni for any type of braid > leader knot in which I don't use a barrel swivel. Palomar for straight Braid to swivel/snap. Nanofil knot (or double Palomar as I like to call it) for Nanofil. Leader to tippet (flyfishing) double surgeons.
  6. You have to switch cards.. Some units have dual card readers, in which case you run two at the same time. No big deal swapping cards though, takes about 3 seconds.
  7. Gold will cover all the great lakes, Gbay, trent/severn etc. It won't have inland lakes. You'll need Hotmaps for that. I run both in my 898 (Gold+ and Hotmaps)
  8. Sounds like the battery is toast, time to get a new one.
  9. What's all in Lormier? Have never fished it, always wanted to.

Talked to a buddy who makes a living with his camera. I asked him the same question, (Sigma vs Canon).. He let me know that the Sigma is extremely slow to focus during action shots... Stills, not a problem... I think I'll be getting the Canon.
  12. I think Ray Charles could have stopped that shot, lol. Ah well, stealing a point like that I'll take!
  13. lol no. You don't think people catch steelhead/salmon through the ice?
  14. I'd probably remove the name of the lake from your post, unless you want 100 of your best friends besides you the next time you go out
  15. There's probably a reason why people wouldn't like pickled herring............... It's pickled herring...
  16. redpearl, are you fishing lakers/whities or perch? Depending on which one, it will dictate which shop you go to
  17. Why wouldn't they? Because you're upset about some parking fees? In a place that's not even near the laker/whitie/perch grounds? Seriously man, don't come if the parking fees upset you that much. I'm sure the city of Barrie won't give a lick. I can't believe the people whining about that, it's pretty funny.
  18. Not really worried about the Dallas game, rather then just come out like crap then play a hard game a lose 2 points, lol. Re group for Sat.
  19. I catch a lot of walleyes fishing deeper weed edges in the summer time for crappie. They definitely don't mind a small meal.
