If you aren't going to trailer this boat around all the time and it's going to be basically on Simcoe and nothing else, I'd pick glass as well.

I like that ice fishing spot as well, did pretty good there last year. Good kill on the smallies!

2wt is pretty light, what do you plan on using it for? Even small stream resident trout will put quite the bend in my 9ft 4wt.

Extra weight always goes in the truck when we tow. Whatever makes it easier on the trailer suspension/tires the better.

I love the Duo Realis Pencil 110's as well, killer killer topwater. Sit nice and low in the rear as well, feathered hook is the ticket!

It's still Nikwash, but I think I use the Tech wash + Nikwax.. It's a 2 stage process.

Yup,. once a year with Nikwash + the other bottle (Can't remember the name) will keep the water beading.. I do the same with my wading jacket.

Sounds like sweat destroyed the phone, not the rain. If I gotta take my cell out with me (Which is never) I'll put it in a ziplock bag, cheap insurance. People like the BPS Pro Qualifier, also the Simms gears is great (But pricey).. Lots and lots to choose from out there.

I wouldn't trust a smartphone as a back up GPS... Especially when they aren't even close to being waterproof. Even a old Garmin unit will work just fine.

You get something like 10,000kms to refill the DEF before the car won't start, same thing with the VW Passats. I don't know about the Cummins, but VW buries them in the trunk, such a stupid location. I like the 335d setup, has it right on the outside near the fuel flap.

Winning 5 in a row and still the bottom of the barrel, that's something to be proud of! How many did we lose to get down to Ottawas level? 12 out of 14? heh. Ottawa sure showed us how it's done! (This is also way to much hockey talk for July, lol!!!)
