  1. If you compare prices, you aren't saving much shopping across the border. That being said, Canon Canada will warranty any Canon body/lens, doesn't matter where it was purchased (US or Canada)
  2. The only comparison between Karlsson and Stevie Y is that they both use skates, gloves and hockey equipment.
  3. ^--- bathroom reading for me. Great book.
  4. Let's hope she doesn't bread with another human.
  5. How do people dig up 4 year old threads? Magic? Cause the search function on this forum sucks, lol.
  6. Well I hope it changes for ya! It's not like the weathermen are ever right :) Goodluck!
  7. Canon definitely has a better telephoto lens range then Nikon does. It all depends on what you want to shot. Also I've found the camera are COMPLETELY opposite... From the way the lenses extend, to the button layout, just everything. Find one that suits you the best, you really can't go wrong with either brand.
  8. A few hours south? Like NY? lol Even Toronto is expected to get 15mm + on Sat. The rain isn't a huge deal if you can get out early, but the wind is the crappy part especially if you're exposed.
  9. I wouldn't be doing this. If you want something diesel specific, I'd be using Diesel Purge.
  10. I hope you're going to BC cause with the rain we've got in the forecast, there isn't much that's going to be fishable. 15mm on Friday with 45km/h winds, another 15mm on Sat with 45km/h winds. Going to be a wet/windy weekend in Southern Ontario.
  11. Youtube is a great resource.
  12. Shooting a cormorant is a bit different then slamming a goby off the outboard don't ya think?
  13. Yup, you can learn more from a pro in one day then you would spending an entire summer on the water. That's what you're paying for!
  14. Lots and lots and lots of the buggers around.
  15. I wouldn't have your heart set on river fishing this weekend, the 20mms of rain on Friday will turn the river you're going to fish into chocolate milk. If you can, get out before that.
  16. This is what can happen to a nifty fifty if you aren't careful Whoops by billmarz, on Flickr
  17. I've never seen a centerpin manufacturer that comes up in the classifieds so often. It's like a Kingpin fire sale!
  18. Be prepared to spend more on glass (lenses) then the body of the camera. That's where the picture quality comes from. In that price range I'd probably go for a used Canon entry level body (T3i) pair it up with a 50mm f1.8 or the new EF-S 24mm STM (Which going to have a price point of $150, killer killer deal).. After that you wanna save your pennies for lenses like the EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8, and the EF 70-200 f4L. Both can be found used for a decent price. I have the 17-55 f/2.8 on my Canon 70D 90% of the time, especially if I'm in the boat.
  19. If you get stuck, gimme a ring I'll pull you out Nice rig man!
  20. Don't get caught, that's illegal.
  21. Just a sec, you think the Leafs sucked in 92-93? Did you even bother to watch any hockey that year? Or perhaps 93-94? The best thing you've got to look forward to as a Senoritas fan is when Toronto comes to town. That's the loudest that building will ever be. Embrace it!
