With a cable steer TM, you've gotta be on it all the time. No setting it and forgetting about it, if you do that you'll be going in circles, lol.

That's all I do, snug it up and that's it. If it's not snug, it's defeating the entire purpose of the transom saver in the first place.

I think it really depends on the size of the motor you've got hanging off the back of your boat. I don't think I'd bother with a transom saver on say a 60hp or less.

How many litres did you put in? The best way to do this is to fill the tank, run it until the low fuel light comes on, fill it back up, record how many litres then do the math.

I always use one on our F115 main. As for the bolts? No need to worry about anything coming loose (I'm not to sure how/why this would happen anyhow)
